Apart from this part of the malacca state that jack visited, which is actually the centre of the malacca city, there is another part in the state that is a place of attraction, ayer keroh. You'd reach ayer keroh first if you drive on the north-south/plus highway, the name of the exit is in fact ayer keroh exit. Zoo melaka is highly popular here before the covid, as well as other parks/gardens like the butterfly park

I'll answer ur question as u ask. Yep, this one is another good video as always. The sounds, view and the way u deliver the message is all clear and cheerful. I really hope u can try ride the Melaka River Cruise. This one i ONLY recommend to ride during NIGHT. Bcs the sidewalk along the river will lit up with beautiful lights, murals and old malaysian houses and the boat captain will tell stories about Melaka along the cruise.(hope things didnt change) I have such beautiful memories there. Im not sure about the ticket fee coz parents sort it all by themselve. *U didn't need to record it if u dont want.* I mean, just chill and enjoy the view. I hope u guys can get a proper vacation and enjoy all this adventure tho. For me, tht's one of my best to-do-list in Melaka. Other thn tht, there's also a popular beach named Pantai Klebang. There's a lot food trucks there and almost all food stalls open during night. Well Malaysians is most active during night coz it's pretty hot here obviously. Jonker street, also, as always chaos during night. Lol at this rate, i think u guys should just sleep during the day in Malaysia 😂 P/s: As of today, u guys have make a good journey here. Good work Jack and Wes(how to pronounce Wes name btw😂is it wes/wez/west?) Keep up the good work and as always, make it real.🔥

Just a slight correction. The british destroyed the old fort to force residents to use penang as the main port. Before that the british helped the dutch administered melaka during the war in europe. They did not invade melaka. After napolean was defeated in the battle of waterloo, the british and dutch shared south east asia with indonesia under dutch, singapore, malaysia and parts of borneo under british rule. Indochina was french. The philippines under america after the spanish left.

Jack, the oldest functioning church is St Peter's build in 1710, much older than Christ Church and not too far away. You also just walked pass the tomb of St Francis Xavier at St Paul's (it is the empty tomb with the silver cage). The saint's body was interned here while awaiting for the trade winds to change direction so that it can be brought to Goa, India.

@@thomasmckenney3518 the second one definitely a honeydew. The first one I believe is a guava. In Malay, the word _jambu_ can refer to two different fruits. _Jambu air_ (rose apple) and _jambu batu_ (guava). But guava normally is not soft unless it was soaked in a water for a while.

Can’t wholeheartedly fault them bargaining. They did ask. They did not force. Fruit uncle can always decline if he did not agree. We can’t stereotype foreign travellers either. Even if their currency worth higher than ours doesn’t mean they have tonnes to splurge either. However it’s also true a little goes a long way helping small traders and peddlers.
@nuriwerd2 жыл бұрын
Agreed. Bargaining with small traders (food hawkers especially) is generally unacceptable behaviour. Food price is normally set. Unless you buy seasonal fruits or in bulk like durians, rambutans or mangosteens etc that’s another story.
