I actually had a 70% normal kind of day today for the first time since January. All I’ve been doing for the past few weeks is writing and recording music. My brain has been so focused on writing/ singing and all the good ideas that flow with making something that it’s like my Brain had no room to generate symptoms and then when it did (when I’d go to the toilet or come out of my “zone”) I just wouldn’t react to the symptoms and pushed through. Even yesterday my heart raced after standing up and then had uncomfortable feelings in my chest but I just shrugged them off as more of an annoyance and pushed through whilst giving my old man a hand lifting some heavy stuff . Just keep saying to my horrible symptoms “ohhh shut up fake anxiety symptoms , you’re just annoying now”. Seems to help 😂

Hey Guys, I wanted to hop by and maybe give some of you guys hope. I fall into the anxiety cycle around august last year. I was having panic attack, constant breathing issues, heart palpatations, tinitus, dizziness, fatigue, electric eye things yada yada. Basically over 80 symptoms. Now it is been a fully year and well - You could say I am recovered. I just started to actually face these situations like panic attacs and let them happen and do things to me that they want to do to me. And with the rest - i stopped bothering. It was horrible but I decided I just want to live again. And well - I lived. Basically - stop doing all behaviour that you are doing BECAUSE you have anxiety (technically - you still have anxiety only BECAUSE you are doing this haha) - and live your life. Your nerves calm down on their own. 90% of my symptoms went away (even the worst lol that i had 24/7) and 10% are sometimes going up and down but overall a calming trend haha, i dont even track it. I forget for long time that I even had this. Basically, I'm just living my normal life again. That's it. You got it there is hope!

My health anxiety started with GERD (acid reflux) Symptoms like Breathing issues, heart palpitations, dizziness, weakness, trembling, trouble sleeping and eating, constant fear, frequent saliva swallowing. Went to a lot of doctors to get checked and everything was fine in my reports apart from Acid reflux. I panicked a lot to the point i was rushed to the hospital a few times. 3 days ago I found your channel and felt relieved that finally someone who's spreading awareness on this issue. Many people are facing the same issue and no one around them understands what they are actually going through, not even qualified doctors can figure out. Watching your videos calmed me and assured me that I AM ABSOLUTELY FINE. It's all in my mind which is causing physical symptoms. To anyone suffering from these anxiety attacks, TRUST ME YOU ARE FINE, we just need to do some mindful deep breathing, belly breathing. Whenever the symptoms show up, don't react, accept and surrender to those symptoms, let them do things to your body, your nerves will automatically calm down if you won't panic and slowly these symptoms will fade away and you'll get back to your normal life!

I think the biggest challenge is remembering to respond mindfully and intentionally rather than the knee-jerk panic reaction. It took making a note card and placing it where I was sure to see it in the moment, like on my desk, near my phone etc... Recognize what is happening and choose to respond. IT gets easier to do this each time. Great video!

This definitely worked for me in terms of realising I was putting in too much effort. I eventually overcame that and learnt to accept my symptoms. There is one thing though that I have learnt the hard way and that is when you are chronically stressed from anxiety disorder then everyday stress can actually build up and cause involuntary panic attacks (essentially a mental breakdown which is what happened to me). I experienced a 3 day straight panic attack that only went away when I stopped trying to be a hero and live my life to the fullest, and finally just took a day off and rested. Maybe not for everyone, but for me and many others a part of recovery is reducing stress and creating a daily habit of deep relaxation (not with the intent of feeling better instantly, just as a habit whilst still accepting your symptoms through it). After 1 month I am able to deeply relax everyday. I think everyone should be trying to implement this somehow or at least reduce stress in other areas in life.

Isn’t it also part of meditation to learn how to respond right? To let go and let it happen rather than panic, resist, and overthink stress and pain. If meditation did not work for you, you just didn’t know how to respond yet. If you know how to respond, which is the point of the video, meditation, yoga etc are wonderful ways to come back to that practice.

Yes, Meditation is about learning how to respond correctly. If it's evident that I compare myself alot and my anxiety is coming from that then how just doing nothing is going to treat my anxiety? It will be changing the mind from comparison to treat anxiety. If you think your palpitations are heart attack then how doing nothing is going to treat anxiety ,It should be to change your mind to think that the likelihood of heart attack is negligible. I found it hard to believe her and dismissed her comment but later I had the lightbulb moment when eventually more classic well known symptoms like hot sweats started. I then did my own research into some of the lesser known but VERY common symptoms of hormonal change like anxiety. Perimenopause can start as early as 35 and last ten years or more. It can definitely cause or increase existing anxiety. Once you know the cause there are ways to balance hormones and for me at least the anxiety then got waaayyy better. I still revisit anxiety videos when something weird happens with my body and I freak out but I now know most the weird symptoms are down to hormones so don’t worry much anymore. I’m 90% improved. Its not stopping triggers its learning how to respond in a healthy way vs react in fear. ❤ i am with you all on this journey, may we all find what works to relax and allow these automatic reactions of our body trying to protect us and get out of the fear loop. ❤ the basics are important like enough sleep and rest, movement and exercise, eating good whole foods, doing things that relax you and make you feel good. this element in this video of non resistance is really important too. What we resist persists. ❤

Yeah I've been in a toxic relationship for yrs and just got out so my body doesn't trust me right now.

It takes a lot of time. I used drugs and alcohol for 4 years in a toxic relationship. Over a year has gone by and still i have this battle inside me. But it gets easier with time 😊

Hi! Do you feel like you had been regulating yourself through the conflict in this relationship and now is like, all of this silence is sometimes horrible, like you dont find any place safe or your body doesnt want to rest?
@vanessawanzer32345 ай бұрын
@CynthiaSalinas-l7c I feel like and acknowledge what was going on and just know it was taking a toll on my body.. like Shaan said ur body reaches this threshold where it taps out and ur body takes over. Mostly I'm good except the palpations but I know it's gonna take time and peace. And I'm on my way 🙂

@@Kasper69929 general anxiety disorder like constantly having anxiety because of lacking basic trust, fears about the future, existential fear doesn't come in 'typical' panic attacs. I'm for example not afraid of fear because i literally always am feeling it. It's doesn't go away. Even if i with exposing myself to my fears. Exposition made it even worse over the years. But these are the typical tips you get.

Talk slower and lower and quieter. This voice right now in the video sets off sympathetic mode. Too much.

How are you doing now? Still have it? I had the same, plus the feeling of being off balance like my head was higher than my actual head. It IS starting to go though. Worst thing you can do is stay in your bedroom all day in fear of it, best thing to do is face that fear, start walking on the streets in public and like the guy says in this video, just accept it and ride along with it. It'll soon go

@@savetheplanet7236 symptoms about the same. I notice when I do something physical, my head will start to develop like a pulsating ache like in a nerve up the back of my head. I haven't been fearing it since I found all this out about anxiety. I don't have any phobias of going outdoors or anything that many develop as well.
