@ I used to watch mostly Samuel Eddy, therapy in a nutshell and this channel. The different styles each of them presented information in ways kept things fresh for me when learning about how to deal with the symptoms. It really felt like I had 3 good friends, especially since the three of them regularly do respond to comments left by people. The DARE response is another channel I would watch every now and then as well. Also, I highly highly recommend watching Shaan Kassam’s interview videos where he speaks to people who were also in the cycle. It’s good to see the varying degrees of extremes of anxiety others dealt with, and it helps give hope to see how everyone he interviews have recovered. Also, when you do get out of the cycle (and you will), please every now and then come back to one of the channels and drop a comment or two giving tips you learned and hope to people that are still in it. Every positive comment can give someone that extra little bit of strength that can help fuel their day. We’re in this together 💪

Wow.. thank you universe for putting this video in front of me. I've been experiencing this ongoing anxiety and worry ever since my first panic attack which was almost a year ago.. and for the life of me cannot get myself to settle down. There are moments or a few hours I can feel calm, but it always comes back. I've been debating on going to the doctor again because it's gotten so much worse but in my head I just know they're not going to find anything wrong with me and say it's just anxiety. Last year when I had my panic attack, it literally felt like my heart was going to come out of my chest and explode, but the doc did tests and found nothing wrong.. it's wild to me that just our thoughts can make us feel like that. I wish I could get out of this loop for good, I want to feel like myself again and actually enjoy things, not have to worry about everything 24/7. It's extremely exhausting but I also can't sleep very well because of it.. I'm still grateful to be alive and have a roof over my head, a job, my family and friends, and my cats. They're the only things that keep me going.

I so resonate with this being different than regular stress. I worked 30 years in an intensive care unit. I am used to stress. But this feels like I’ve been stuffed head first down a drain pipe. It’s so next level. Feel I’ve gone from a strong independent woman who can handle anything to a fragile child who’s on the verge of breaking all the time.

Don’t know how I stumbled across this channel, but I’ve been watching the videos lately after relapsing into panic disorder. These words I’m writing don’t do justice to the extreme dizziness, palpitations, and general feelings of impending doom, especially when doing any form of exercise. The only thing I’ve found that slightly helps is breathing less. Not even deep breathing, just breathing less when I get the urge to breathe more. Sometimes though, not even that helps, and I’m convinced I have a blood sugar/pressure problem, or some other issue, even thought I’ve had all tests done. Anyway, very underrated channel, and the best advice I’ve seen on anxiety. Thank you.

Bro bro bro, freedoms is on its way in my life. This is so hard though. My gosh, brain fog while working a job is so challenging, and to just be comfortable with it there while it is actively interfering with my performance is crazy. But I am learning, and I can tell it affects me less the more I focus on work and not it. Honestly I will be a better person once overcoming this. What a battle.

Your videos are on point ! But my problem ‘ aka worry is , i get better right , off my meds and sensations are gone ‘ i get my life back finally , then i notice i start to slowly overthink a stressor or just a situation im not use to , have a restless night and bam 💥 , im back into the cycle like my first time , just as bad or worse then it was 20 years ago ‘ I understand what’s going on and can manage my symptoms, but the pain and worry are intense , and the physical symptoms pop up again , than back on meds like starting all over ‘ it wasn’t a set back , its was far worse .. the only thing i got going is knowing what it is and staying someone positive through this process .

It’s messed up that the DOCTORS didn’t explain all this to you when you first went there. Instead they just said “it’s anxiety” and basically told you to go home and figure it out. They are health professionals, they are supposed to teach us! If those doctors explained all this they could have saved Shaan like 3 years of suffering

What do you mean when you say “respond to the symptoms” what does that actually mean? Does it mean to tell yourself that all is well?

@@starrperry6395 means you know what your regular body feels like as compared to what panic and aniexity body change feels like. One is a regular body function feeling most of the time.. and the other is what aniexity body is feeling. Like body on a walk in a park as compared to how the body feels during a mile long jog. Body function on run is excellerated body responce as compared to the difference of a gentle slow walk. When you "walk off" a jogging responce your body slowly goes back to where your everyday normal is. Hope this made sense, 38+ years a and p.

Responding mean not fearing your symptoms or weired emotions or thoughts, let it be there without reacting to it in fear, no matter how intense it is no matter how scary it feels, your job is to stay consistent on not fearing, no matter how difficult a situation you face don't fear it, don't avoid it do not resist any discomfort, allow it to come and face it without fearing it, focusing it, fixing it, fighting it, frustrating from it, This is what the right respond mean, I have learned it from shaan kassam video he have vodeos on this, When you stay consistent on responding like this this will slowly slowly desensitize your nervous system, and you are back to normal life like before and you will never fall back into this problem because you now know the solution, In the beginning you will need conscious efforts to respond but after sometime it will become your habbit and your brain will start responding automatically and then you become a better version of yourself compare to before!
