Thank you Shaan, i appreciate all your videos despite i am not part of your mentourship i learn alot from it and i do really believe in this. Remember when we focus on our symptoms we keeps on feeding them but if we let it be and feel that uncomfortable feeling it goes away. Our body does not only meant to feel good and happy and we javeto teach our body that life is limea roller coaster and we need to teach & train our mind n body to go through all that. Anxiety is just an emotional stress, just that nothing more nothing less. All we need to do is show gratitude towards the symptoms knowing that it won't do any harm to you. Once our body knows how to respond correctly and positively and some symptoms doesn't need responding at all and by no chance we are back to living💯

I am being obsessed about a certain topic, but not about the symptoms I have. In fact I think my constant obsession and excitement about that certain topic (for 2 months I even dreamed and never stopped thinking about that every nights while it made me excited all the time) was the one that sensitized my nervous system to the point I had my first panic-attack near-death experience. After that I avoided to think about that topic anymore. And I started to focus on realizing my anxiety. Now that I am on the way of curing my own anxiety, I am at the point where I need to face my fears first which is thinking about that certain topic that makes me fearful and excited at the same time. Since that topic (and my attitude and excitement it gets out from me) was the one led me to have my near-death experience by exhausting my whole nervous system and my body. Thinking or even approaching that topic in my mind is the main trigger for my anxiety. But I have a question. If the key for curing my anxiety is to face my fears and face with that certain topic again I would turn my fear into excitement, again. But... it would pressure my nervous-system again. Basically currently I am fearing of pressuring my nervous-system by excitement, but with a strong reason, right?
@KincsoSchneider7 ай бұрын
Update: I realized the feeling of excitement itself isn't dangerous at all, that wasn't the main cause. (But that I lived my everyday life based on a lot of fear rooted in my childhood emotional neglection. I didn't even realize them because I hid it from myself I had negative feelings at all) There was a reason against which I had my obsession as a coping mechanism. The problem was not my excitement, not that topic but my own exaggerated behavior (towards anything) which didn't allow me to face my fears and cure them.

I've been suffering with this for years now. At first it was only really bad the morning after having drinks and being hungover, the more the worse it was. I also started to notice that travelling, esp being on a plane would set it off for days after. Now it plagues me 24/7 and exactly as you said its hard not to pay attention to it when you feel like your drunk/stoned when you are completely sober and even had a good nights sleep. I did an MRI last nov, and they found a lot white matter lesions, but 2 different neurologists say this has nothing to do with the dizzy/heavy head/crushing off center feeling. Its actually refreshing to read someone experiencing the same thing as me. I've suffered with health anxiety on and off for over 25yrs. I always just assuming when i got older i'd be so much wiser and would just out grow it... NOPE..lol. Hope you have been able to over come this.

Keep questioning yourself. I figured root cause of my anxiety and dpdr and it was perception of any good feelings and emotions as being again on drugs or being in love. Both things hurt me very much but I didn't allow myself to process it. As the result 6 years of anxiety, dpdr and panic attacks. I haven't felt good since until just recently. This also explains why we might feel dpdr while we are totally relaxed and safe.

It has absolutely nothing to do with it. The cause is the subconscious mind creating risk assessments (hypervigilance). Your mind processes data gathered through your senses, determines a threat and the amygdala then signals the adrenal glands to produce adrenaline.

@rudyv18913 күн бұрын
It is easier said than done but I went through it alone, like many others here. Shaan has so many videos and resources available for free. That's how I recovered. With the methods 1. Recognize that it is your nervous system, adrenaline, and cortisol. That is what makes anxiety and the symptoms show up 2. Once you know it's anxiety, don't Fear it 3. Don't try to fix it. Just let it be. You don't need teas, vitamins, deep breathing. Just sit there and breath normally. 4. Don't get frustrated and don't focus on it. When you do that it gives way for it to keep existing. Just breath normally and continue with your life as it was before anxiety. 5. Give it time. If you practice this you'll eventually start feeling better, but beware there are setbacks and new symptoms. Just practice the same thing and in a few months you'll start seeing the end of the tunnel.

It feels like you’re not able to concentrate to the present, it feels like i’m trapped inside a box where all my emotions are attacking me, it feels like i’m just a moving robot who’s only able to feel and think about those same memories and feelings over and over again. I just can’t concentrate to the present, and my mind won’t shut up about those same memories, they keep running in my head 24/7 a day. But when i try to find out about what are those thoughts and why are they bugging me so much, i can’t put a finger on it, it feels strange. As if all those memories are thrown at me at the same time and i can’t pick one. My mind is full of weird thoughts and it makes my mood weird.
