I honestly can’t tell you how happy it makes me to hear you say that he’s healed you... because I’ve hoped this whole pregnancy that he would help you to recover from the shock and upset of your early days with Daisy. You look fantastic Charlotte... I know you feel swollen and puffy and sore, but you look the absolute vision of a glowing, happy new mummy. x
@CharlotteLouiseTaylor6 жыл бұрын
Oh Lucy! Thank you! I am so surprised at how content and ‘healed’ I feel. It’s made me even more in love with these babies of mine and I’m no longer torturing myself. I’ll never forgive myself for passing my syndrome on to Daisy. But I realise more than ever that she’s the most wonderful little girl I could ever hope to call mine. And I just feel much more at peace now. It’s been a relief to leave it behind me. xxx

Charlotte you are looking amazing having just only had Stanley, I've followed your weekly videos since last July and I'm currently 38 weeks with baby number 4 I hope I look even half as good as you do afterwards! Stanley is super handsome and I love seeing you IG pics with Bill & Daisy. I agree the after pains do get worse after each baby and that's one thing I am kind of dreading. My youngest is 7 so I think I forgot pretty much everything about labour and after birth. You are doing an amazing job however you choose to feed! Best of luck to you all

Thank you so much for doing this video and being so real! I am a ftm and my little one and I have been struggling since day one with breastfeeding. He didn’t latch at first, we fought with the breast shields, my like too five days to come in and now I have a low supply, expressing is so hard and stressful when I know baby needs 4oz and I only express 1oz. I have been so hard on myself lately so stressed and I know this isn’t helping my supply. It was so refreshing to hear you say to just be proud of what you have done so far. I’ve been struggling with that and I feel like I’m failing my son. Thank you so much. It helps to hear this from someone going through it. I look at my healthy son and I know I’m doing the best I can. So thank you all the way from the state of Washington USA.

You are doing great! For expressing are you feeding him that or freezing it or anything? I had problems with my daughter and got so much comfort from freezing it and using it to feed her on top of formula and also in milk baths. I used the last of it when she was 8 or 9 months and saved some lovely photos from her milk bath.. I couldn't properly nurse her but found that photo and captured memory quite healing for my mental sake over it all. Congratulations again he is an absolute cherub! X

Hi charlotte. Congratulations on Stanley. He’s a beaut! I had my little ruby 19/3/18. Like you and daisy, my 1st child Harry had cleft palate and PRS. So feeding has been an issue, I am currently expressing and your right it is miserable 🙁. But your videos are very inspirational x

Hi Charlotte, I've followed your journey with baby Stanley since the start & honestly it's been so beautiful seeing you grow & your family grow. I'm currently 35 weeks pregnant and one question I do have is, what are your thoughts on having a camera purely for photos? Is your phone used more or a camera, do I really need one? I'm stuck whether to get one or not. Wishing you all the best Hun xx
@CharlotteLouiseTaylor6 жыл бұрын
Thank you so much Brittany! Camera-wise, I used my Canon G7X Mark II to film the birth and take some snaps. But I have loved taking candid photos on my iPhone too! The Portrait mode is great. And I love the real-ness of the memories I’ve managed to capture using that. Sometimes it’s not about the quality of the photo, but the quality of the memory. I hope that helps! xx

No symptoms yet apart from as soon as I got the positive hpt at 13dpo the backache started .

I don’t know about you, but as much as my body changes challenge me emotionally post baby (my 3rd boy was born the day before Stanley), knowing that he will be my last makes me sentimental about the loss of tummy etc. which is ironic because I spent the last 3-6 months of my pregnancy wishing I could see or reach my toes, or just generally be more mobile to keep up with the older two children. Being a new Mum (no matter how many children you have) is an emotional roller coaster isnt it? 😁
@CharlotteLouiseTaylor6 жыл бұрын
It really is! And I really relate! When I see lovely ladies comment and say they have five weeks to go I think: “Oh! I will never feel that again.” And it’s so bittersweet! Breastfeeding is hard! I gave birth on Sunday. By Wednesday my baby was down 13%. 😭😭 she was getting nothing from me, I wasn’t producing anything. She got formula and became a different baby! So happy!! And two days later she’s gained 10 oz! Her pediatrician said “if trying to breastfeed is stressing you to the point of tears, just stop. Happy mommy, happy baby” so that helped me have loads of peace of mind. My baby is getting fed and that’s all that matters!
