Amen. It is a very sad situation, but he sadly is no longer qualified and to continue in the office will do more harm than good. Thank you for trying to be a voice of reason, I pray those in the NIFB congregations can see through their own, self imposed blinding to the truth of this. He needs to focus on his family now. Their churches can still be great without him, he is just a man, Jesus is the one who is great!

I have so much respect for Pastor Mcmurtry and Cassandra. They have stood for truth and right over the years, regardless of how the NIFB lied about them. I respect standing for truth over standing behind the man. I find many of the NIFB pastors are afraid to say Anderson is wrong. It took a lot of guts for Pastor Mcmurtry to post what he did.

Pastor Mcmurtry looks like a chipmunk pastor probably because he is one. He doesn't understand what "ruling your house" means. I suppose the prodigal's son's father was to blame for his actions? What about the kings of Israel who actually did love & obey God? What about Adam & Eve and their children Cain & Abel? Were they solely responsible for their ADULT children? When children leave the household they are know longer under any legal obligations to submit to their parents. Honour thy father and mother is the 5th commandment because God knows children like to rebel, look at us sinners. The only mistake Pastor Anderson made was not beating the wickedness out of his children's heart Proverbs 23:13.

Pastor Anderson has led many to biblical truth, but in my opinion, his type of preaching is not appealing. I have seen baptist churches shun their brothers in Christ for dropping the Scofield Darby doctrine. In my opinion that's why Pastor Anderson is hated by so many. That doesn't make him wrong

John and his siblings raised their concerns with his father, then New IFB pastors, then the CPS, and now the world. The issue is about preventing further spousal abuse (which Steven has defended as consensual BDSM his wife enjoys) and preventing further physical and psychological harm to the other younger siblings still in the home. Adult siblings have reported that the Andersons are not reading the Bible or praying - but instead listening to worldly music and watching R-rated movies. So I'm at a loss as to why you are appealing to the Bible for a family no longer practicing it.

So "Rocky" Randle apparently thinks this is a good time for hit multi-part hit piece. He says he "observed and watched many things" "little red flags" "over the years" so apparently when a pastor's adult children are attacking him, that's the best time to speak on those things, Mr. Randle seems to think so. I don't blame you for not realizing that's the case since Mr. Randle can't finish more that one sentence without giving a few um, um, uh, ums.

I have never identified our church as that, but admittedly I share a lot of beliefs and practices. Much of these were inspired by the teachings of Pastor Anderson (more specifically, an agreement with his teachings based on a study of the Bible). And this is why I continue to be thankful for his ministry.

Whippings with an electrical cord were extreme, random, daily, and cruel. The Anderson children do not read the Bible or prayer at home. R-rated movies and worldly music is now permitted. Not following the Biblical basis for the abuse when it's not a basic for the household.

@KennethMahjongOathII if you would link me to those four siblings all saying that he abused his wife. His wife has said he never beat her. The interview with John, he ASSUMED she was being beaten. That could easily be mistaken for what happens in the bedroom. Which is what both of them said. As far as the whipping with an electrical cord goes.... when I was young we got the leather belt. My dad had to grab a switch from a tree and get whipped with it. It says in the Bible, "spare the rod spoil the child". Nobody is getting hit with a rod nowadays, which would be way worse than a belt or a cord. I believe everyone is blowing this way out of proportion.
