Yes, that house is a purse. In the 70s it was very trendy to carry wooden purses that were painted, or decoupaged. Most were crafted. I was abou 12 when I made a couple of them. From my research they are in demand right now.

I went FT 3 years ago. I’m a retired navy vet so I wasn’t totally dependent on the reselling income, but I can totally relate to everything you said. I’m happy with where I’m at. It is a grind but I love doing what I do! You numbers look very similar to mine with the exception I’m only listing on eBay. Selling a bit of everything with my main focus on electronics and sporting goods.

You're a marketing guy so you know how effective it can be. B ape keeps inventory low so demand stays high. Plus some rappers promoted. So as long as they can keep the hype up the prices will be good. But likely it will become stale over time. The materials aren't exceptional.

Hi Jim this is my first month selling and it is a A LOT OF WORK. This is a part time for me and was having a lot of issues with the photos trying different lighting . The only parts that makes me super happy is sourcing and when something sells. I do not like cleaning steaming , listing part of the business let’s see how it goes . Great content you actually said like it is , many make seem like is a piece of cake when in fact is a lot of constant work

Happy eBay Anniversary. Yes, it IS work to sell actively on eBay. I helped a guy who had just retired get started, and he sold a few high-dollar items, but didn't wish to continue, said - "too much work" - yep, not for everyone, true. I do enjoy the treasure hunts, even if my luck has not been great lately. I've sold off and on for many years, much more active last 2 yrs but so far do not crosslist.

Hey there! Just found you today - I'm a newbie to eBay starting.....today! My husband says we're not retired. We're just tired! lol Lifelong musicians, and actually - still musicians. BUT - bills to pay, so we are trying this whole heartedly. THNX for this post. It helps. One thing I might suggest - this might be tooooo much - but when showing the monthly totals, it would be helpful to know the actual "net", meaning after fees. (forget about taxes - that's a given). But a net would be interesting to know as we figure this out. THANK YOU!!!

I had to shop around with the open enrollment for Obamacare and some other options out there like State Farm and farm bureau. Unfortunately it’s very expensive!! Good luck.

I usually just wraps them in bubble wrap and put them in a poly bag. But only because I don’t currently have any padded envelopes. That would work as well. Thanks!

You should get comfortable sorting through the women's section, many of my best finds are men's clothes that are placed in the women's section on accident. You learn the women's brands as you go.

Yeah that’s how I find most of my women’s clothes, when they are put in the men’s section. Haha. I really need to start going through the women’s section more often and learning those brands too.

I promote my listings that have a really large number of similar listings and competition. But I don’t promote items that have very high sell through rates.

12 items a day = 12 hours. That's 4 hours max. U napping in between? That's not work. 😅 Stop the spreadsheeting. IRS will NEVER require that EVER.

Yep I’m old and require at least an hour nap after every picture I take. 12 pics x 84 = 1,008 pictures in 1 day plus listings, then shop the rest of the week. Spreadsheeting is for me not the IRS.
