I honestly thought it would've been a bit less, but like you said the small things really do add up. Also, the flashbacks to the build take me right back to the winter when I first started watching. I'd have your playlists going out in the garage for as long as I could without freezing my 🍑 off.

dude i got a 92 dodge stealth rt twin turbo, i have 2 bigger turbos and fuel injectors coming in. yesterday i was working on putting some coilkovers to slam the car and after getting my ass handed to me by the 32 year old seized hardware and only being able to install one coilover. the car wouldn't start. all i would hear was a click. i thought it was a bad battery so this morning i bought and installed the battery and still nothing. was feeling really down about it, but i did my research and found its a common issue that u cant stop, but it does have solution. i ordered the stuff i need and after seeing this video my motivation is back

I would have guess around 10k not including wheels and body kit. But 14 still doesn’t seem crazy because having to buy so many little things adds up to like buying one big purchase like ecu or exhaust etc. Honestly I’m not the biggest fan of the 300zx model as a whole, but I absolutely love yours. Probably the best 300zx out there in my opinion, and it’s still not even painted yet! 🤘🏻

Love that you've given that Z a second chance! My daily driver for the past 2 years was advertised as a parts car. It's an Alfa Romeo 147 Ducati Corse edition. needed a bumper, headlight and AC condenser after it had a small crash. It sat up for 2 years. I also replaced the timing belt, deleted swirl flaps, replaced boost pipes and fixed the EGR with a tooth brush and some oven cleaner 😅 Paid €1400 for the car, €600 in parts, then I found a set of Alfa GTA wheels on Crooober for €500. Italian wheels, sent from Japan, to Ireland 🤣 I've also fitted some BC racing coilovers to it for €1200. Did all the work in my driveway, I swear it's been the most fun and reliable car I've ever owned. It's like it is thankful for being saved. Thinking of a hybrid turbo as the next lil upgrade for it 🤌 Keep it up man, inspiring stuff 😎

@@PrizzaMikeOn my 91 Z TT that spot is for adjustable suspension dampening switch... two settings: comfort and sport. It adjusts the actuators on top of the shocks (similar to EDFC)... mine works well. Most ditch that for overall better coilover suspension and factory OEM adjustable shocks are unattainium or wayyy too expensive.

Very respectfully, I thought the point of moding a older car of this generation was for saving money, at 14k plus body kit and wheels/tires, let's call it 17k. You can get some really cool cars for not much more. Even tuner type cars. V8 muscle cars for sure. Wrx type stuff. This guy is sooo good with a wrench he has saved himself a ton of money vs paying someone to do all this work. 17k kinda surprised me.
