Dude i dont know how you dont have a million subscribers by now. The way you format your videos, and add your advice and personal experience into them, makes the quality of your videos like no other. I learn something new every time i watch one of your videos and especially this one, not only entertained, but i feel inspired as the video ends and it keeps me wanting more. Especially the camping trip, and “live like your dying”. beautiful video, thanks prizzamike!

The left turn noise might be the tire rubbing on the brake hose to hard line bracket. When you had the wheel off the leading edge of it looked shiny. Worth a look. Love the channel!

I gotta say you’re one of my favorite creators anymore. Not just because your build depths are crazy, and you actually care about the cars in their own respect, But your videos make me miss being younger and miss a lot of my friends who’ve moved. The garage hangs, adventures, building cars, and living every moment in the way it deserves. Every video is like a trip down memory lane for me.

Just about every single thing about this video was relatable. I replaced the steering rack recently only to find later that my column is cooked too. There's always something I guess. Love the merch and all your positivity while staying real. I just needed this video right now.

Dude, the ending speech was the best honestly. With how life has being going on this end, and how things seem to pass by faster than ever for nearly everyone's lives, it's always a breath of fresh air when allowing yourself to disconnect from any media even if just for a little bit. Almost like allowing nature to tell you to slow down, in my opinion. Also just thought to mention - since I didn't see anyone else point it out - that not having the usual outro music play at the end of the video and just having the sounds of nature in the clip of the campsite felt refreshing (nothing against the song though ofc :P) Keep up the awesome work! Keep it real 🤘

I personally love to use the white paint marker for bolts. Just a simple line from the bolt to the surrounding area, and you can immidiately tell if its tight or not. Plus, that way you can immidiately tell if you tightened a bolt or not (as someone suffering from ADHD, its a god-send, i always get distracted and end up re-tightening all the bolts :( ) Also, high zinc oils are good. Zinc forms a protective layer over the wear surfaces, its why old V8s with flat-tappet lifter type of cam setups need high zinc oils or the cam gets eaten by the lifters. I personally use 10W-40 Castrol Magnatec, diesel variant. Mainly because I have a TDI, but also the diesel variants of oils used to have more zinc in them, not sure if thats the case today though.

Hey Mike, check the preload on the rack to take out some of that slop, and I had a similar creak in my 240 which I found it to be a wheel bearing. It wouldn’t happen when going straight, only when turning. Btw love the content, and I had to cop those limited edition Ts! Keep up the work you’ve inspired me to rebuild a 240 shell from scratch and make my own wheel tubs and I used your video as a guide.

Good life lessons for my favorite car KZbinr. Getting off your phone and allowing yourself back into nature does heal you. I appreciate that section of the video more than you know. Also thank you for the inspiration on continuing my personal car project, a 3000GT VR-4. I have my work cut out for me as I'm a total noob, but seeing you do all of what you do keeps me going. i love this channel man.. the camping part and stuff you said about the phone and being bored: since a few days i started thinking at the same thing, having every single second of the life occupied by something, kills slowly your brain, makes you too much tired

@patrickbruijsten28314 ай бұрын
those life lessons at the end are a good one for everyone, i drive a truck for a living so i spent a lot of time at night in the cab just doomscrolling over and over untill i got to a point i wanted to be bored because this is not what i am. so i promised myself to park up every night in a way that i can go for a stroll and learn or see the region im at for the night. im not doomscroll free yet but ie been walking a lot of miles since then and jsut enjoying nature/scenery/towns. itś soothing. so thanks again for the great video and take care, itś a good thing you went back to nature, pumping out vids can be stressfull.

see, a lot of youtuber's don't build project cars... they build cars, and either do nothing with them and move onto the next one (goonsquad, love em, but honestly wish they would do ANYTHING with their cars) or do something with them, like racing, doing a cruse, or just enjoying their car (young static comes to mind) he builds them uses them and then flips them.

mann, I really wanna hop on that merch drop like the one with the Gloria, sadly someone hit + ran my car in a parking lot and caved in the rear quarter and it's likely totaled (and not feasible for me to fix on my own) so funds are gonna be super tight until i get this fixed/replaced edit: also! careful using metal utensils on nonstick pans like that, the metal can scratch away at the nonstick coating messing up the pan and also scraping the coating into your food

Regarding the creaking sound while turning left could also be a wheel bearing since it is quite shot and must be replaced as soon as you can. If that doesn't fix your issue, then yeah, rack might be an issue since it does have some play in it from what you showed. In the end about the advice, I do agree on that the social media is taking way too much time off of our days and we really don't notice that. I felt the same when I went on a trip to Poland, Zakopane (from Latvia, Riga) for a week, that vacation felt like a month, but in a good way, will go back soon, this time for 2 weeks.

@prizzamike take brake rotor off and spin the hub with hand on back side of knuckle to feel how the hub bearing feels. When turning left the weight of car shifts more to front right wheel so that could be why it only makes noise one way. I got a good feeling you just need to replace both front hub bearings.
