I appreciate these videos. It would be helpful if perhaps a team member of yours could put in time codes for chapter indexing for these longer videos so when I go back to reference that I don't have to necessarily scrub across the entire hour plus. Looking forward to future tips in this area.
@rondalucy2 жыл бұрын
She explained in another video why she doesn’t do this anymore. Unfortunately, while it’s great for viewers, it’s terrible for viewership and the algorithm, etc. So, my guess is that’s why you don’t see that.
@khanceptbelal2 жыл бұрын
@@rondalucy Mr Beast was asked about chapter indexing. He stated anything that's good for the viewers is good for viewership long-term.
@srishtimsr Жыл бұрын
Hi, I completely agree with you. Even I commented on another video of Vanessa's asking her to do this but she replied saying that removing chapters gives her more watch time (because if chapters are available, people keep skipping around). I don't agree with her at all on this one because like you, I come back to certain videos to look for something specific & I get fed up trying to find it. I think she needs to respect her viewers and not force them to watch the entire video. But still, this is her channel, so we can't do anything about it. I really wish she notices this thread and understands what we want.

I like to know how you organise all this content in the background, like where you store it, how you know what’s been posted, what’s not been posted. Even using AirTable, I find I get in a real tizz and spend a lot of time making sure I don’t make a monster of a mess on my computer with all these content pieces - as in the actual files, like millions of videos all over the place, phone, computer, some used multiple times, others not. It can be a bit chaotic.
@VanessaLau2 жыл бұрын
I currently use Notion for this one. You can get my Notion Content Planning Dashboard where it includes how you can organize your content.

Vanessa always have the best KZbin content and tips! I bought the Notion dashboard in a heart bit. I must say it’s so overpromised. 😢😢 it’s basically just the template without the content. This video gave me an impression that the Notion dashboard comes with all the content shown in this video for an example.
@VanessaLau2 жыл бұрын
Hi Celine! Thank you and regarding Notion, it's a template so the content from what we're using will not be there but there were examples there so you can see how it will look like in action. You can check the July 2022 calendar on your template and you will see the examples.

You can create a folder in your Google drive- can name it assets. Then create mini folders inside this for different platforms you are using . E.g in my youtube folder, I'll have a "IMG" images folder and a " VID" video folder..replicate this for other "platform-specific" folders created and upload all my files to the respective folders
