Thanx for the scoop. Out of 15 min, 11 min was on personalized efforts, nothing to do with 10k milage experiences. Point 13 min says it all, you're happy with it. Me too with my ecoboost 7k miles later. No issues neither. Happy trucking

Thank you for the update video. I received my truck two weeks ago and love it. I lifted and leveled mine with the Ford Ranger 2" lift and put 245/65R17 tires on last week and I just put in Baja Designs fog lights yesterday. Wiring was easy but going flush design took time cutting out the valences. I loved using the JJC brackets that go behind the tow hooks. Very secure.

I am not much of a Ford guy, they were always #2 growing up. I like the gas mileage, it is a 4X4 4 door with seats for many and has a truck bed. That is a lot of storage. Your truck gets almost as good gas mileage as my Nissan Altima.

Very nice set up...like that it's AWD can't beat that mileage..driving my RAM 1500 with a Hemi I am at 14.7 mpg..so making the change was a smart move. Awesome to see just how organized you are.. appreciate you sharing your review and always enjoy your content.😊👍

Very efficient set up. Maybe add a vehicle safe to keep the revolver. They can be as thin as a medium size book. Nothing guarantees it won’t get stolen, but it definitely brings an extra layer of security from unauthorized access. Great job with the video 👏

I have a suction cup RAM mount on the windshield, drivers side in my Tundra where a grab handle would be. Works awesome, perfect location for phone and Nav. No tape, no drilling!

Wow, a new Maverick really is a lifted all-wheel drive Ford Ranchero/Chevy El Camino/Holden Ute. In college a friend had an old El Camino. Not something you would take off-road as it had 4 or 5 inches of ground clearance, but it did everything else we needed a truck to do. We had fun with the small block Chevy in it, but I know that Ford Ecoboost makes even more power than that old V8.

Cool vid bud. We have the awd tow package, luxury package and rear slide window. We love it a lot and am just starting to accessorize her. So ordered the xtrusion rack and just waiting on the hardware. Got the 20” to clear the antenna (got a 3” stubby) for ISUP boards. Put on a hard rolling tonneau cover from ford and is not going to work with the rack because the tonneau has a locking bar that runs the length. Love the tonneau and want to make it all work so am looking at cutting the mount brackets of the rack and bolting to the top of the box rail. But need to look into that further. May just used rack in summer and tonneau in winter. Happy trails. 🇨🇦

FYI, all wheel drive is in front wheel drive unless it feels it slips. I think you'd be extremely impressed with the hybrid fwd offroad.

Not necessarily true, it’s continuous variable torque. Meaning the CAN system decides how much power to send to the the rear twin clutches. From 1%~100%. It also does it side to side meaning it can shift more power to the left side then the right. Vice versa

You are totally right. If you wanted to lift it 2 inches and put bigger tires, you would have kept the tacoma instead. Dont understand people trying to justify buying the maverick to mod it to achieve tacoma or other true midsize efficiency without the capability. The price difference between a tacoma is negated by the mods to try and make it like a real truck.

What is that taco going to get? 17mpg stock? A lifted mavrick and a slightly larger tire I bet wouldn't drop 5% in fuel efficiency. Even a 10% is still almost 27 mpg if your starting point is 30.

The maverick is a real truck. Its just not an off roading truck. I consider them a weekend truck. It will tow your john boat or you can hook your bike rack to it. Great for getting mulch or loading a big tv. But your monday-fridays are commuting to work

Ford did something very right with the Maverick. They built a "right size" truck which is big enough to do most jobs. For those who need to tow 12,500 lbs. regularly, this truck is not for you. The RIGHT TOOL for the job. I don't understand these people who buy a huge and expensive Tremor or Trailboss etc. and have no NEED for it. Why oh why drop that much money if don't need it? Why? Because they're out to impress people- That's IT. They must have a big, bad a$$ lifted truck with an obnoxiously loud exhaust to let everyone know they're making an appearance. Spend your money on your kids college fund or retire a little early. If you need a truck, this Maverick is a good choice at a reasonable price.

The biggest knock against the Mav is the unibody construction versus a regular truck frame. Undoubtedly having a unibody saves weight and thus will give you better gas mileage. I wouldn't think this would be a problem as long as you stay away from hard objects, such as rocks and logs.

Thank you. You can not open the bed cover with the rack installed. I'm not aware of any rack where you can open a bed cover.

Very nice, I like that bed rack. I really want one of these. Word on the street is there are part numbers appearing in Ford databases strongly hinting at an AWD hybrid. EVERYONE (practically) is getting Area 51 lol. I drive a Performance Blue Veloster N so I was looking at Area 51 a lot, but now I'm all about Cyber Orange :D Velocity Blue doesn't do it for me... maybe Alto... I'm already designing things for the bed in my head. I love the whole concept of the Flex Bed. Thanks for sharing!

Why did Ford call it the Maverick?? They used to have a piece of junk 2 door car called the Maverick. Looks good though. I would have have put a diamond back cover over the bed so you could stand/sit on it etc. and much more secure. On another note your girl's rig is 🔥🔥🔥

THE MAVERICK IS LOWER AND IS EASILY DAMAGED WHEN IT DROPS HARD ON THE TRAILER TONGUE. MINE COST 59 BUCKS AND IS WORTH EVERY DIME. MAVERICKS SHOULD COME WITH THEM AS STANDARD EQUIPMENT TO AVOID SUCH DAMAGE.
