(thought it would work as normal due to it being water proof within certain parts of the detector), on dry land and sand worked well. My first one, so still have lots to learn

Hi Leigh I’m in the process of going through 15 lbs of very old pennies that my wife’s grandparents started saving and lists of errors to look for. Even our paper money has value and I found a 1 dollar bill that was perfect in the front but the stamp on the back was to high and to far to 1 side. That 1 dollar will sell for around $27 - $30 bucks. Plus my finds too P.S. are you keeping count of all the bikes you catch. You have to be a world record holder Leigh! Your the best man man for the job Leigh!! You are so lucky to meet Ricky Gervais and his meme Jane! He cracks me up so easily!

I just want to take a moment to say what's already been said, and more than likely will be said in the future. I didn't know anything about magnet fishing prior to your videos. Nada, zilch! Lol. You've not only opened a new world to me, hobby-wise, but also just passing the time with your incredible videos as well. judging by the path he took, it's plausible he stashed them or had a partner take them once he realized what he found. so it's possible they aren't even in the canal but in someone's private collection waiting to be pawned elsewhere.

Very cool! Even on a bad day you pull bikes out of the canal that don't need to be there. My experience with magnet fishing was recovering a guy's truck keys from a boat ramp with a Harbor Freight magnet that had been in my boat unused for years. He bought me a six pack of Heineken beer, since I wouldn't accept money. He got to drive home, I shared my beers on San Diego's Mission Bay. A good day😎
