Other than Harari read old Gore Vidal novels like Creation and his essay collection America. You'll get a vastly more relevant education about today's national and global problems.

Creation Lake sounds fun; it reminds me of Tom Clancy's original Rainbow Six novel, where I as a reader end up rooting for the eco-terrorists.
