Ive been pretty much binge watching this series from yesterday. What a wonderful car you got there! But please don't use those Abiko connectors with harnesses. Soldering makes the connection look much better and it lasts way longer. Especially when you were able to do it all on table. All in all nice series tho! Great work!

I had just purchased my 2015 evo today looking for a new radio unit... really loving the way this one looks and functions ABSOLUTELY SICK! does it also have apple car play? And also when you say your going to be using Bluetooth only and not adding the usb wiring harness. Does that usb wiring harness by any chance be able to plug into the radio and charge your phone as well?

Do you have an OBD reader plugged in and running Torque app on this? You got wideband wired to your ECU? Does Torque display WBO2 properly? I just installed a 2din with dual bluetooth into my Evo rebuild specifically to run OBD and use app to display gauges. Not sure if Torque will make sense of flashed rear O2 signal and display AFR for me. Hoping it will.

I own a similar looking model and yeah you can install the same radio. Just make sure you get the DIN adapter to move the climate controls down to make space for a 2 DIN radio device.
