They're saying 17,000 opening and closing cycles. Keep it clean and don't open and close it every time you get in the car and you should be able to get at least 5-7 years or better.

I installed one of these last night and I really want to like this unit. However I'm getting constant audio stuttering whenever I play audio off the usb. Mp3 or music videos the audio glitches just the same. Tried multiple different types of storage just in case I wasn't sending the data fast enough. No resolution. I had to modify my dash mount so the top screen could open correctly. I had to shave off about 1/4" making the stereo stick out a little more and two slits for the brackets to fold out

And do you want a Double DIN (Large Radios like this one) or a single din (Generally just a few inches tall, usually no screen). Your car can fit either size
