@@Lucky8s ya gotta have good winter tires in a snowy icy place. vehicle age not as important. take care of your vehicle, do the pm by the book. that's how ya get 20+ yrs out of a new car/truck. front wheel drive and anti-lock brakes a big plus on icy roads but slow down and use common sense when driving like this. that keeps you out of trouble anytime driving.

Make sure you check the weather before coming over here. They sometimes shut down that east I70 when it snows bad. Safe travel's!
