Will the base pads that stops over penetration fit on an Atlas 140mm mag? I recently purchased a staccato Xc and bought a few Atlas mags and wanted to change the base pads with your base pad just wanted to make sure they’ll fit. Thanks!

Installed mine today and after troubleshooting it still isn’t sitting well. In fact I can push the base pad out without pressing the star down.

I see you carry 2011 aiwb I have some concerns (mostly out of ignorance) about how safe it is. I recently ditched the 5+ p320’s I had due to a lack of confidence with all of the recent incidents of AD’s. I have 2 staccatos (p&xl) and was looking at a c2 for concealment. My concern. Is that it seems both safeties (manual and grip) are all geared toward stopping the trigger from releasing the sear. So, since there isn’t even a firing pin safety, it seems that everything rests on the sear no failing? Is this correct and if so are there any incidents that you know of where there have been issues?

Properly set up 1911’s have been drop safe for some decades now. The Staccato is plenty safe and adopted by many agencies with drop safe requirements.

The vast majority of 320 AD/ND’s have been because of the holster being designed for either the flat or curved trigger and then using the other version. The Canadian SF ND’s were because they continued to us their Glock specific holsters for their X-frame 320’s A 1911 or similar weapon with a manual safety makes AIWB a different animal. Go watch all the AIWB videos of Glocks discharging because the user doesn’t properly clear their cover garments or even holstered because it pinches when they bend.
