ALF (the 1980s) sitcom was a nightmare for all involved due to the complexities of having a puppet for a main character To give you an idea, the set was riddled with several trap doors that the puppeteer could use and if a human actor fell down one it could have lead to severe injury. Now imagine trying to navigate the set without being allowed to look down and you can see why it was so stressful

It stuck with me when Mandy Patinkon said his favorite Inigo Montoya line was when he muses "what to do with the rest of my life. I've been in 'the revenge business' so long..." The actor went on to explain how that line sums up the reason he'll advocate against harboring personal vendettas or any vengeful outlook.

Not An Actor But I Hated Getting Involved With those early 2000's 4Kids Dubs especially Cubix childish fun and games as a Middle Schooler but hard to stomach In more recent times after that 2004 One Piece Dub that companies stock dipped like a dead weight and Losing Pokemon was also a huge L and only Yugioh and TMNT were the only things keeping the lights on Oof Painful to remember In hindsight but my Anime resume Had a few hits and Diamonds In The Rough like Inuyasha, FLCL, Afro Samurai, Street Fighter 2 V, Requiem From The Darkness and Sword Art Online (Like It Or Not)

Bradley Cooper - Maybe his substance abuse issues contributed to his reduced work schedule? Denise Crosby - She returned to the show more than twice. She also played the role of the Romulan Sela, Tasha's daughter from an altered timeline.

Bit of a head-scratcher that Crosby thought that way. The 3rd episode of NextGen is about her! You'd think she'd know they'd have used her more in the future! 😮 Regardless, it was unfortunate since NextGen went on to pioneer plots for ensemble casts. The 7+ main crewmembers would take turns being featured. In contrast, Chekov, Sulu, & Uhura tended to be just extras. There was never a story about, say, Yeoman Rand having to fight an unwanted suitor's consort like Yar did. If a story called for a melee, it was just about always Kirk who did the fighting.

Wonder if sitcoms sort of peaked at the time of Seinfeld, Frasier, and Friends. I hazard Friends had nothing on those first two, yet it was Friends that subsequent creators tried to copy the flavor of. It stayed passable with HIMYM, got worse with 2 & 1/2 Men, and at least got high-brow with Big Bang Theory though that still seemed like it was Friends flavored. Community seems like a mere symptom of all that.
