In my experience best way to farm blood moon orbs is to find a place with like 4+ floating orbs, shoot them run to nearest fog wall (like dungeon) pass trough, immediately come back to those floating orb shoot them and repeat. I managed to get 36 blood moon orbs in one event.

This. By far the best way to farm them. Got 96 essence in one event. Also, they sell for 125 scrap each back at ward 13. Great source of income for those of us sick of stopping to look for every breakable in each map.

I did this in my farm and it was easy to grab 40-50 orbs with each blood moon event. I can't remember the name of the place (of course not because who needs important info like this! Lol). But it was in the area where I had the root nexus. The door I'd run to was the twisted chantry. When I'd come from twisted chantry there were like 5-7 orbs very close by so I could run through grab the or s and run like hell back to twisted chantry and back again. I'd average 5-8 orbs every 3 to 4 mins. So for a 20 minute event I could farm approx 40 to 50 orbs. I'd trigger 3 or 4 events and then go to Cassie and sell my horde of orbs and then go buy the stuff I needed. If I run low on money I head right back to yaesha and find that damned doorway and I'm off an running...

I'm playing this solo atm, about 50hrs in and got most of the trophies. going for a platinum. the best tip is to choose handler class, make it your main archetype, the 2nd archetype is engineer so you can deploy a turret. it makes the game very easy. you basically have 2 NPC, a dog and a turret helping you. a dog can relive you also

I'm running handler/summoner build on solo runs, really effective, also using the Sagittarius bow, keep the handler skill on support dog and use his howl to heal my summons.

I flipped it, summoner/handler.... I reccomend this if you are not dying alot.... the prime perk for summoner is kracked. +50% damage, attack speed, movement speed (for your minions) when you damage them. ~40 second buff

I found running medic handler helped with having the doggo agro most enemies so you can focus on the ones that won’t and have the little healing well as a back up, now I changed to gunslinger medic with the high power shot from gunslinger and the shield and health regen skill from medic has been good as I try to upgrade gear

Doing the same found a .333 & .25 hp/sec ring along with summoner passive i have a nice hp/sec regen then I put a 5% summer dmg lifestyle and a -10% dmg but your healing applies to allies ring. Also using the red doe staff. Every 2 attacks I can charge attack to heal my dog/summons for 10% hp Only time I have a problem keeping them up is if a boss has aoe ground dmg.

My favorite build so far has been an engineer/summoner build. The turret counts as a summon, so you can become a seriously hefty drain tank with the soul link ring and the ring you get from the blood moon altar that gives you bulwark for each active summon. The natural health regen plus lifesteal plus damage reduction makes it real hard to put you down, and it still leaves room for other accessories to modify it to your liking

Oh yes!, get the rings from bloodmoon and the bulwark damage buff you're doing +45% damage, +50% armour, your lvl2 minions have +5% life steal buff for you. You're immortal unless you try to 3 man the last boss, even then everyone else is dead and you're running around looking for ammo😂

Big tip, many of the mods can be toggled so you don't have to wait for the ability to end to start charging it again. Nightfall's Dreadwalk ability for example can be stopped so you don't waste the whole time waiting, especially if you have rings on. Unfortunately, it resets the cooldown but you save time. How: Press the same button that activates it again

little tip for the blood moon : use a shotgun to shot at the blood essences. It touch them nearly 100% of the time even if they are far away, you don't have to aim at all

So for the summoner class, you can access the altar in the forbidden grove as it is completely random on where it will spawn (outside). As for the blood moons they do have to be outside but id recommend doing it on campaign as my adventure mode blood moons are sometimes visual only. If you dont get one to spawn, go offline and set your console/pc clock an hour or 2 ahead and try again offline. Bloodmoons are on an invisible cooldown. (I have no sources but i have seen many blog posts and have tested myself.)

I started with challeneger and so far i like the challenger handler combo. I havent unlocked any of the secret archetypes yet but i plan on trying them all. I really like the flexibility of challenger because you go for a melee oriented build with second skill or a more gun focused build with the third skill. And handlers 2nd skill really supports the health regen build i have going.

i started that way too, but i dropped the dog, and now go with challenger medic, the dog was kinda annoying, since im playing melee, and the dog is too, we were blocking our ways, also dog doing to much on its own (i want to play, not just watch) dog is okay in range builds, when he can fight enemies that got close, and my hunter needs to roll spam away. (as challenger i want them on me, and dog does not let them)

Right now I'm playing challenger gunslinger I gotta say if I had the gunslinger unlocked at the beginning I might have went with it instead.😅

and it depends on the story for the alter i have seen it locked behind a door and not locked behind a door at all .. but it was different based on the main story quest for me. on a side note i have to tell you DO NOT SELL SOME QUEST ITEMS lots of quest items have an additional feature or function for example taking the override pin to the night weavers web gives the corrupted heart .. and taking the corrupted heart to nimue gives the tranquil heart ... taking the anklet quest item from a sewer mission giving it to the web also does something . do not for the life of you sell all quest items you do not need there may be a different / alternative use for them ..

My partner found the cargo key code not long after being given the lamp, she has a knack for inspecting everything so when we found the chest I started reading the books nearby for a date and her thought process was "did he give us anything? Ah the lamp". So yeah that sidearm carried us decently far in the early stages.

Blood moon event is tied to the hosts local time in some way. A way to get guaranteed blood moon event is changing the time of your PC while having camped outside of the zone where blood moon event happens, you do not need to restart the game either, simply keep changing your time 1 hour at a time prior to entering, if no blood moon, exit, change time and repeat until you find a time when it starts. Whenever you finish your run in the blood moon event, exit through any fog wall, change the time once again to whatever it was when you triggered it and enter.

max out classes asap and get best armor fast. I use armor boosting rings and amulets to reduce weight and boost armor/resistances. Phetyr Set iarmor is my favorite so far and with rings/amulets have it maxxed out to almost 300 armor rating and can still roll/dodge normal. Love Enigma, Rupture canon, Monarch and Nightfall for weapons.

If you kill the last boss of the zone all areas look like they have a blood moon but it does not activate the blood moon secrets. Just remember if you want to farm secrets do it before you kill the boss as it will make it impossible to actually tell if a real blood moon is active.

I can do a light weight cuz of -15 armor encumbered amulet, +25 to all stats ring, and then I wanna focus on melee damage and skill reset cooldown, eliminating them with a godsplitter for elites too. Just do a heavy attack for bleed, then roll and stab multiple times

Kill all the blood moon orbs you can see and then run through a fog door and then back. They will have all respawned. You can get close to 50 per blood moon this way. Just DO NOT hit a world stone. This will end the bloodmoon event.

The crafting tip isn’t 100% true… the echo you get from Ne’Rud world boss, is used for 1 of 2 things…. You can give to janitor, or use it to craft an item at kiosk below him. I think there was another instance like this also

Ive made a lazy build it gives me boost for not moving or dodging and im handler/medic so the dog can chase enemies and I can use medic skill to stand in one spot I can tank alot of dmg its mostly viable for easy mode since the damage to heal ratio but basically I can stand in one place in front of a boss for a good minute using a shock mod with shock boosts and unload lol

Summoner is hella fun and is really good early game but it really falls off on higher difficulty because the minions scaling is ass, so i would reccomended getting another more dependable class maxed out first, or at least until youve unlocked engineer

Depends how you build your summoner. Remember that your summons are based on power level, then with additional gear. If you have everything upgraded then you should be at power level 20(I think max level). With the rings and gear you can make your summons really powerful. My Reaver summon deals 3,000-5,000 non crit, 8,000-13,000 crit damage. It has just as much health as a boss enemy and can even solo the boss by itself, unless the boss flies in which the reaver is useless against.

@Unchainedful I apologize, when I made this comment it was right before the buff and I didn't know that the rugged existed so except for reaver(which is too slow to rely on world clearing) so my summons were essentially just healing pools, now that they can actually tank more than one shot I've been using the burden ring that heals your allies combined with soul link to basically make them immortal to all but a few attacks, and have had alot of success in coop with a engi/summoner medic/summonercomp because the heal you give to the allies counts towards medics prime perk it essentially means you have infinite relics. With all that being said, the one problem with the summons is that the damage still scales bad. The enemies just get much more health with each level than the summons get damage, making them seriously fall off late game and especially in harder difficulties, I don't know how the hell you got your reaver to do 13k damage but even if I got him to do that he's way too slow to clear worlds with and his damage falls off against flying or fast targets. TLDR summoner can be built to be op for bosses but on higher difficulties they are bad at world clearing

The "roll through fire" tip is good, but it only will put the fire out instantly if you have 2 seconds of being on fire left on your timer. If you've stood in fire for a long time you might have up to 10 seconds of it on you as a status effect. Each time you roll seems to knock off 2 seconds. So you might have to roll 2 or 3 times.

This isn't true. I think it depends on what type of dodge you are doing. I did a light armor fast dodge and dropped an entire 15 second dot stack off.

During one of my gameplays Blood Altar spawned very close to Root Nexus and no clocked door in between, it was accessible from the beginning. So it's not the rule.
