polygun is amazing! It swathes through vet enemies like hot butter, and nightmare doesn't know what hit it! Not good for apoc, though. Also, this is most likely a bug, but there is an easier way to get this weapon: Start a new campaign(sorry, must be done for this.), get to the lab and fully unlock it. Next, head to the location of cube 11 and use a grenade or the meridian to shoot where the cube *should* be. Then progress to 12 and 13 like normal. U skip the 10 previous cubes! Be careful, because dying while doing it this way may stop the cube from spawning, soft-locking u out of the gun

there is a way to get it by onely shooting the last 3 crystal tingies. you just need a explosive weapon for the first of those 3. do it before they patch it. otherwise this weapon is not worth your time :P

the description of the gun is writen in hex, meaning UNABLE TO LOAD OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS - "NOT FOUND", and the description of the mod is writen in decimal, meaning MOD - TOGGLE COMBAT FIRING MODES

One of the msgs talks about not losing the security lanyard . So i put on the gunfire game security lanyard and the msg changed to something about safty goggles . An quick look at the item list for the dlc tells us there is an item survivors mask but it doesnt exist in game yet according to wiki but the item is a pair of safty goggles . So this got me to thinking something else going on with this gun

Btw if you are doing this co-op for anyone that does this in the future, if one person dies, it messes up the whole thing, and you have to reset. Also I experienced a crash during the whole thing (I wasn’t host), and it didn’t mess up, so don’t worry if this happens, also got stuck into the loading screen from leaving the Backrooms, it seems closing your app during this (at least) doesn’t mess it up as well.

Ok it could be the hardest weapon to find if the search wasnt bugged, i got this by following the instructions from some random dude in fextralife, just destroy the first white cube and go straight for the 11th, he will be invisible so use an explosive weapon to break it, the plataforms will show up and you can get the weapon after 2 more cubes. Its not patched yet so hurry up until the devs make that 11th cube immune to dmg until the 10th is destroyed.

before the patch to fix the quick and easy way. you can just progress through the labyrinth like normal pass the cube boss. go down and around the stairs 6:30, then shoot the cubes there. thats how i got it, my friend showed me.

Yeah, a interesting idea, but unfortunately with the shovel and various other ammo resolving options added as well as it burning your mod slot it is an under-performer for apocalypse play, especially vs cube gun. Cool looking though. Tried it out, interesting little gun, but needs like double the shot capacity to even by viable as a fun-gun to mess around. Two or three shots a reload will get you killed fast. Now the Needler weapon....

@@dhopjr57 Being bad and unable to dodge attacks is what gets you killed in the game, if you die because you don't kill everything fast enough that's still not on the weapons lol. The only difference is the time it takes to kill stuff, just gotta focus on defense first and then offense, this way it's just a matter of time

There's an easier way to get it. All you need is the last three after cube boss which are invisible but you know you hit it when you here the noise.

It's not bad, strong in my HuGs build. Issue is you are in trouble if you miss the reload, also biggest problem is the timer, 5 seconds to get to the next reload, which if you take too long the purple arc will overload causing you to take damage and you are back to 2 shots base of the gun. I've had too many moments where I was 4 out of 5 shots and the timer loses a cube count and my gun jammed when I took that 5th shot. Happens even more when you are on 3 shots and it slips back to 2 shots.

not only it a task to get this darn thing....but reload require you to do perfect reload like Gear of war in order to get the benefit. yeah i wish i can do it more often but we make alot of mistake in the heat of battle and result? i either just ignore the perfect reload or get myself shocked , adding reload mini-game for a gun in Remnant is probably not a good idea

I like the perfect reload idea but feel like it should be a bonus (like it was in Gears of War) rather than a requirement to use the gun. That or make it easier, or of that would be op (somehow) give it an interaction with reload speed or heat reduction.

@@EinManU It IS a skill issue but the problem is that the battlefront 2, gears of war, etc. give you a large enough magazine so that you aren't constantly trying to reload during a fight. Plus the pace of combat is much higher in remnant 2 than those games.

Also folks who are gonna attempt this make sure you've got the Cube Gun in your inventory after you get the corrupted version! I made the dumb mistake of forgetting to craft it again after getting to cube 10, had everything except the cube gun for the backrooms lmao. Pain but it was on me, so just making sure no one else had to suffer the same way as well. Other than that, great guide!

So with the 9th cube you dont actually have to drop all the way down to it. You can shoot it from the bridge before you go up. Just hit a 180 and look down. Hope this helps someone!

Almost none of this is necessary. Skip to 6:30 on the vid and start there. First cube is invisible, use something explosive. Next two are just there and the gun spawns. Save yourself the time

All you have to do is go to the same. Spine grew up behind the staircase, but instead of shooting all those random cubes. All you have to do is shoot up a specific spot on the wall that you're facing should have a legend. Shoot explosive at it. It will spot a platform. That you're able to jump on then. Shoot the orb, they'll be dangling above you or somewhat above. You in front of you and a plot from will appear, then jump on that platfor him and then the wall that usually disappears to get the weapon, just shoot the wall of another explosive weapon, ill disappear and grab the weapon.

Also if you somehow die after hitting Cube 10, when I died it didn't respawn when I got back to the backrooms. Not sure if it's a bug but it already counted as destroyed so it won't mess up the order when you start from 1. You can just skip to Cube 11.

You CAN use an explosive gun, like corrupted meridien and START with cube 11 and skip the first 10, its how i did it, its there, just invisibile. Edit: Patched, no longer possible.

U need to only shoot 3 of them and u get it but am wondering if u do all of them what does it do is it the same or u get something extra

It's a bug, it will be patch. Even you come back shooting the rest after getting the gun, won't give you anything new. Beside sharpen your cube shooting skill.
