I put the wrong species name on the Limonium. It is actually Limonium perezii. Thanks for watching.

Loved the explanation of accidental vs. intentional plant breeding and love that chartreuse podcarpus gracilior. They grow so well here in FL zone 9b I’d love to grow that chartreuse one.

Hi Jim and Stephany. I love that Emu Bush. I see it is great with the Sun and Heat. Q? How well will it do with high humidity? Zone 9b Texas Gulf Coast here. I would also like to try the Statice as well, if able to handle the humidity (?) Thank you for sharing another great video. 😊

My mom grew all colors of statice in middle Georgia where it's very humid. She dried the flowers and made arrangements out of them. They hold their color well.

Correction: Fortnight lily is zone 8 hardy. We grow it all over central Texas including in 8a and 8b

Thank you. I should have looked on their list before I did that. I'll pin a comment.

Do you know if seeds are available for these. I’d like to plant a bunch on my farm for my beehives since he said they bloom so long. Bees seem to prefer smaller flowers that are densely clustered together.

These fortnight lilies could they just be dug up in the fall and stored easily or possibly mulched heavily in my zone 8a garden? I have grown this New Zealand tea tree and it lived through most of the winter in Arkansas zone 7b but at some point it did succumb to what I guess was to much moisture. Can anyone tell me how I could possibly keep the tea tree from year to year. I used to see the tea tree available at the big box stores but don't see it anymore.
