@Steven Narey why does that mean it's not a kids show? Kids swear dude, I remember everyone in the playground was fuck this, fuck that! back at school. Sex is implied in a lot of kids show. Ed Edd n Eddy for example, when Double D and Eddy are hiding under Eddy's bed there's a porn mag next to them. Also I wouldn't say "constant" sex jokes are in the Simpsons in fact it's actually pretty rare for the show to have them. The same with swearing, I've never heard the F word in the Simpsons, the only swear I hear is damn and ass which are in tons of kids shows.

J.J. Are you actually serious? Just because kids swear doesn't mean that they can show it in a kids show. They've used bastard quite a bit, bitch a few times, there's been strong British swears like shite and wanker. Homer and Marge having sex when Bart walks in on them, more than oncestrong sexual innuendos, there's been animated sperm. There's one episode where Marge and Homer are trying to spice up their marriage and try to have sex all over Springfield. Need i mention the picture Mrs Krabapple sends Bart when he tricks her into a relationship through letters? There's been many strong drug references, too. The porno mag in Ed Edd and Eddy is for parents who are stuck watching it with their kids. The Simpsons has a few jokes for kids that will inevitably watch, but it's 100% written for an older audience. If you still don't think so, set yourself a lot of time aside, sit down and watch as much of the show as you can, and actually take note.

Early seasons of The Simpsons (s1-10 I grew up watching 'em) are fine for kids, some of the humour was even targeted at them, so that it had something for everyone. It slowly started to become more like family guy and relied more on below belt humour, being less child friendly.

@Tyler's channel Idk man I dont really care about what google says, however I found debates about it. I Think its entertaining both for adults and kids and this seems to be the most accepted view. I used to watch the show when I was 9 and have never seen anything that I shouldnt have seen. I can name 1 episode that was most definitely not for kids (where Homer pays depth back by filming porn at his house for the maffia). Other than that like 4-5 jokes about sex that a 9 year old wouldnt even get.
