My personal preference is bands with singers who can carry a tune. And can sing the lyrics in a manner which you can understand recently i had the opportunity to go see Megadeth, but the opening band was Mudvayne, and I couldnt get past the growled guttural vocals I mostly agree with your list but you forgot LimpBizkit Everytime i heard you say seltic frost its supposed to be pronounced like keltic as in the celts opinions are like assholes: everyone has one Dont forget Godsmack who i always thought was an alice in chains ripoff

I was kinda surprised to see Celtic Frost there. They're actually one of my personal favorites. Besides the obvious Cold Lake and Vanity/Nemesis, I think they've made some remarkable albums. But we all hear things differently of course. That's the beauty of art.

Wow. So many bands on your list are some of my favorites. I can agree with you about Bullet for my Valentine and Atreyu, but some of the others on your list just punched me in the gut. My very first rock concert back when I was 15 was Coal Chamber opening for Type O Negative. Still one of the most memorable shows of my lifetime. I don't really listen to Coal Chamber very much anymore, nor do I listen to Manson as much as I used to. Also I don't know enough about Celtic Frost to comment on them. But Behemoth, Smashing Pumpkins, Type O Negative, Ghost, and even a few songs by Suicide Silence are all in regular rotation for me. 🤣

@@MetalNeverDieswithMarkA Yeah, for sure. That definitely could be true. Then again, there isn't much that I dislike with a passion. Like, I used to enjoy some Atreyu, and even went so far as to see them live. They put on a good show, but I can't say that they will ever be in any of my lists of favorites. I don't like most metalcore, I guess. But even then, I like Bleeding Through and As I Lay Dying (despite how shitty of a person their lead singer is). I'm also not a fan of most grindcore and other metal bands that have heavy "pig squealing" vocals. Dying Fetus is one of those bands, even though I do like a couple of their songs from a technical perspective.

I love Celtic Frost. I enjoy Ghost, and while i enjoy what ive heard from Behemoth, i just haven't had the time. For me i hate pretty mych all Deathcore. I dont like Metalcore either. Bands i really hate though are Bad Omens, Motionless in White, Sleep Token, Electric Callboy, falling in reverse, i dislike everything Arch Enemy has done since Angela left. Linkin Park. I actually hate all these bands to say at the least.I love black metal and Celtic frost always felt just so disengaging for me. I never felt like behemoth deserved the recognition they have. Ghost is “radio friendly” rock music. Not one thing about them goes beyond that category. There is no L takes here.
