I have been thinking of trying my first colorwork sweater this year, so I really appreciate your detailed review of “beginner friendly” patterns. Very helpful!

I haven’t done colorwork yet. But thinking I will start with a hat first.

We think a hat would be a great colorwork project to start with! Not a ton of stitches and a lot of times, a thicker yarn too!:)

I just finished the Blizzard by Jessica macdonald so easy and great colorwork. A good addition to this great list.

Not into pattern suggestions that are not size inclusive. Bye.

We apologize for upsetting you. We will be more cautious of this next time:)

Most of those patterns seem to be extremely size-inclusive. Many of the sweaters come in 8 or 10 sizes, going to 64 inch bust and above 70 inches. At the beginning of each pattern introduced, the sizes are stated clearly. How much more inclusive do you expect? Just because Untwisted doesn't rush to use the "size-inclusive" term doesn't mean that the patterns aren't size inclusive.
