@jfncho7 жыл бұрын
TheLZempir3 both resting places tends to trap air which may lead to fogging, or may dampen the spongey areas that touch your face. im my experiences ive found it best to completely remove your goggles from your head. but with everything, your mileage may vary on the mountain :-)

Nice video Kevin. I personally prefer to have the goggle straps over the helmet. I think this is the best option for beginners as they will fall often and will get snow on their goggles. It makes it much easier to take off the goggles to clean the lens if the straps are on the outside so they don't have to take off their helmet as well.
@thedancingelfhohoho83525 жыл бұрын
But if you fall your goggles will be come off the helmet they will just hang and bunch of snow will get in like dude

I'm not a snowboarder but recently gotten hooked on snowboarding vids for some reason. I like your tips just a couple of things I noticed, I'd say the main reason you don't cover your face with the balaclava is due to the fact that you do not want moist of wet cotton touching your skin in winter conditions, there is a much higher chance of frostbite. And I'd also add that if you want to tighten the boots that you loosen them between runs to get propper bloodflow back. Love from Norway!

one you forgot to mention in safety gear is a back protector. I often wear one of those when im not boarding with a backpack on. Not because it will help me if i fall. Its fairly unlikely to help being just on my back. But mostly against other people that dont know what they are doing. Ive on several occasions had people crash into my back just sitting on the mountain (yes i do check very well where i sit. I always choose a responsible place to do so). But some people think its funny to turn as close to snowboarders as possible, use you as racing pole or try to spray you with snow. If the fuck up, they crash into you. Definitely saved me some back pain.
