The tech kit is an absolute must buy! As you've already stated, the clam shell opening makes for easy access and it fits every bit of my techy items. It is by far my favorite travel accessory.

I have loved Bellroy products. They are very thoughtful and durable from my usage, I am glad you guys put many of them to test before releasing a review! I have their classic backpack 2nd as well as a few Slim Sleeve wallets. However, their recent release and choices for the "Apex" line is quite disappointing. The pricing for their normal goods are quite justified, but in my point of view they pulled off the Apex line shamelessly. Despite marketing, objectively, the slim wallet is just a few slabs of the leather you'd find on regular Bellroy products without the tradition leather craftsmanship (stitching) and durability. Plus, they stick with their normal 3 year warranty but they mark the product up +60% from normal slim wallet. At $160cad for this wallet, It makes the $600cad Apex backpack look like a great deal. I really do see the value of good design and quality materials, but this Apex line, and choices they made with pricing is quite a slap in the face to us loyal customers that already pay a premium for their product lines. That said, I have really enjoyed the quality of their normal line of goods and agree that Bellroy do make some good stuff.

The Apex backpack has 10 years of warranty now, but it's sad the other products in that line don't get similar treatment.

I use bellroy card pocket for 5 years. After 3 years start having problems with zipper. It is not closing good. Strugling a lot with zipper. But i love the format of this wallet.

We’re talking $300 nylon backpacks here. I’m all for paying more for quality but within reason. I got my TOPO 40L travel bag for half that and that feels more substantial.

I wish they made a slightly bigger version of the sling with more organisation and a wider main pocket zip. Big enough to just fit a 11" tablet. Yes, there are other slings out there that can do that, but none of them look as good as Bellroy products look.
