One of the schools gave me school during Covid flashbacks. No thank you 😂…I’m not too picky i am Christian and ofcourse would love a Christian program, but i also just want a program with clean content, affordable, sibling discount maybe lol (i have 4), can work at their own pace…(my daughter is in 6th grade but is being pushed through the system, she is not at 6th grade level unfortunately, open schedule, oh boy im asking for a lot

There are a ton of Christian programs, I'm sure you'll find something that works. If you need it to be more affordable, maybe a homeschooling program would work better?

I'm not sure what curriculum they are using, I assume it's one curriculum for all the subjects. I'll look into it!

What about Online Schooling?
@AmandaMelroseАй бұрын
I'm not quite sure what you mean. All of these are online school options. Is there a specific school you want to know about?

Hello there Amanda, I just saw this video today after having watched the part 1. I have a 9th and 10th grader , having always been in private Christian school, I’ve been looking at options. I think my kids would benefit from what you said at the end of this video that a mixture of both flexible, yet some live classes. Can you post which ones this might be and your favorites or opinion. I’ve looked so much that it gets so confusing 🫨 thank you so much for doing these videos, they have been very helpful. 🩷 If no good options for a little of both flexible and virtual do you think LUOA or Enlightium? Different curriculums. Hopefully you can weigh in, this so hard. Blessings
@AmandaMelrose13 күн бұрын
Enlightium has the option for live classes which I like. I don't think LUOA does. Enlightium uses Ignitia which is the curriculum created by AOP that is also used for Ignite Christian Academy (and many others). I am not sure what curriculum is used for LUOA. I know it's tough to choose!

Hello Amanda. I'm from Brazil, and I'm looking for some online schools to earn a U.S. high school diploma while still living here. I'm really interested in Veritas Scholar Academy, but I'm not sure where I can check the credibility and legitimacy of the school. Do you know of any websites, perhaps government-related, where I could look this up? I checked the CHEA and Cognia websites, but I didn't find the school listed there. Or maybe there's another way to determine if a school is trustworthy or not. Thank you for the video!

They are accredited by the middle states association. I tried searching on that website but it wasn't working for me. Perhaps give them a call?

@@AmandaMelrose Yes, I also tried searching yesterday, but couldn't find anything. I sent an email to msa-cess. Thanks for the help.

Hi Amanda, I have been searching through your videos to see some options for 7th grade. It's so hard to choose because there are so many options. We are using Miacademy and it's actually pretty easy for my son. He enjoys the features but, I don't think it's challenging enough. Would you recommend moving up to Miaprep or something else? Is Mia enough for a full homeschooling program or should we possibly look into some of the online schools to get more advanced learning? I've had my eye on Sora schools but, the price is way too much. Do they have a flexible part time option or maybe just doing that for one semester, or do you know of something similar that is not too pricy? The prices range from just a few thousands to up to $30,000 or more. Why does it vary so much? Is it like shopping at Target compared to Neiman Marcus? It's so confusing. Thanks for all your reviews and recommendations!

I did a review recently of CMASAS - they are similar to Sora but they do offer part time options. Miacademy might not be enough of a challenge, but you could move him ahead a grade and see how that works. Or just supplement with some other programs. If it were me and money was an issue (which it is, ha!) I would hold off on the accredited programs until high school.

@@AmandaMelrose There seems to be so many new schools that pop up all the time so it's hard to choose. I know you have done a best of the best but will you be doing another version of that soon? Maybe I will see if I can get my son into a class or two to save money at a school like Sora but my head is spinning with the unlimited options. We end up spending our days reading, exercising and Legos most of the time:).

Hi, thanks for the video, great information. My son is in 9th grade on a public school but i had to withdraw it. The plan is that he will come back as a sophomore next year. Do you think is duable for him to take 9th online and be able to finish on time? Im looking at Acellus or James Madison. Thank you
@AmandaMelrose9 сағат бұрын
It should be fine since it is a school and will keep transcripts, but I would still double check with the public school so you don't have any surprises.

Hello ! Amanda, is it acceptable " education World wide online highschool". Please i look forward your reply. With big hug
@AmandaMelroseАй бұрын
I have not reviewed that program, but it looks similar to many of the other online high school programs. There are honestly just so many. I am not sure who they are accredited by as it was not clear on their website, so you might want to ask about that.
@issuhagos7940Ай бұрын
@@AmandaMelrose Thanks for your reply. As you said it is not clear in their website when I ask them they say it is accredited. It is business they won't say we r not accredited. I am planning to terminate the world's wide... try to apply for " Northgate academy" . In their website it stated clearly the school accredited

Is James Madison High school diploma accepted worldwide ??
@AmandaMelrose2 ай бұрын
I assume it would be accepted anywhere that accepts a US diploma. Of course, if you have a specific concern you should definitely contact the school or if you're concerned about college or job-specific requirements then you would need to contact the college you plan to attend or your intended place of employment.
