yes! he begins with a banger! or bangers! i play it now on the switch the correct count of the 2 nexomon games, is 737 nexomon moon stone island comes to nintendo switch as well but digital for now. spring 2024. temtem? they will remove the battle pass. coromon is awesome developed by dutch men. siralim ultimate is on the switch also and has a lot and i mean a lot of content. casette beasts i never buyed, time to go for that. azure laine is cool! and if they do an rpg its great! and about the gocha mechanic? its free in that game. so i hope that i will come on the switch also

If you liked those titles so much, i suggest you to take a look at pokemon fangames and romhacks scenes, there's a lot of really good unofficial fanmade non profit based projects in the making or that are done. Pokemon Uranium is one of the few finished exemples but it's really nice!

My wife has been an adamant Pokémon only gamer since she was a kid. I finally convinced her to try out Nexomon 1 and 2 by "accidentally" downloading it in her switch, and now it's impossible to get her to put her switch down! Needless to say, she's no longer just an exclusive Pokémon trainer, lol.

Nexomon 3 is also upcoming, no release date but it is being made. Also some notable upcoming mentions: Monstronomy (Releasing April 18th), Home of the Yokai, Creatures of Ava, Fae & Fauna, Fera Knight and Genkai Primal Awakening I really look forward to seeing more of these games and others.

Nexomon extinction is one of the best monster collectors of all time imo. Cassette beasts I found to be good but! I had trouble getting out of the main city when you first start playing because the soundtrack for the city “wherever we are now” is such a beautiful song I often find myself just listening to it on repeat and dozing off

I liked TemTem, but I got annoyed with the fact that on switch I have to play online with subscription. It's like a waste of my money to HAVE to do the online payment if I'm only playing ONE game and don't even use the online features for it. So, I haven't even finished the storyline since I stopped playing a year ago 🤷‍♀️ Lesson learned, I'm not getting another creature collector game that forces me to use online mode when I just wanna have a good single player experience.

Honestly I feel your pain my problem isn't that I don't want to pay for online I have online for several games it's not that big of a purchase for me The problem for me is that Nintendo's online. Sucks. Blatantly so it always has. And forcing a game to be connected to online 24/7 in order to play means you're constantly disconnecting and losing progress because of Nintendo's crappy service Tem tem desperately needs an offline mode

I can't wait for Kindred Fates, that's the most innovative game on this list as with Azur Promilia but, Kindred Fates being able to play as the monsters has always been a want in monster taming games for me.

Loved Monster Sanctuary and Cassette Beasts. I grew up playing pokemon but also play a lot of indie games My favorite genre of indie games is monster catchers but it really seems like no monster catcher has been wble to catch the charm that i really love about pokemon Most monster catcher games fixate hard on the monsters themselves with some kind of gimmick (farming is what i see most of the time which i do love but it seems like either the farming mechanic sucks or the monster catching sucks) But the thing i always liked about pokemon was their stories. I dont just want to mindlessly fight i want to hear the story and lore or this world about these monsters. I want to know the people who live along side these monsters... And yes i really really adore any game with a scary villain which is sooo difficult to find in monster catcher games it feels.

New to the genre. What monster tamer would you recommend? For context, the only one I played briefly was Temtem. I turned away from this genre because I didn't like the stamina system (why can't monsters rest out of combat?), the slow progression (maybe because it was an MMO), and the art style that felt like a rainbow threw up on my screen. All in all, Temtem was a bad experience. Is there a monster tamer on Steam where I get to summon some actual badass monsters instead of weird, bubbly squirrels? Thx!

Btw rune factory i would count as a monster taming game. Its reallt an everything game. Farming. Rpg. Adventure. But they have over a hundred monsters u can tame and lvl up to bring witth u on journeys. Its super underrated and a new one is coming out soon

I've played pokemon since the beginning and I loved it. But it's gotten stale since the last 2-3 releases.... So, TemTem, Palworld, and others are inspirations for a new look into the monster collecting games. One day I hope DokeV comes out too. Until then, the items off this least I liked were: Nexomon, Kindred Fates (a must have!), Coromon, and Cassette Beasts. All look great!

I didnt miss it, I've covered it a lot of the channel, its not as much about collecting as the others, I was focused more on heavy collection elements, smt has limited storage and stuff.

Nexomon extinction is just one of the finniest games to play. The story was a treat 😂. Currently doing a playthrough Cassette Beasts, and the battle system is easily one of my favourites when it comes to turn based games. Easily recommend for those who haven’t tried it yet. It’s darn pretty too. Monster Sanctuary is next on my list. Looking forward to that game

Never played the full Nexomon - didn't want to pay for it I guess. Monster Sanctuary was incredible. I may need to grab Moonstone Island. I'm massively disappointed with Temtem - loved it originally, but disagree with the direction it went in and the intentionally slowed down pacing.

I was interested in TemTem when I first heard of it. But after watching it progress in development. While it looks like a solid game and probably is, I will not support the developers behind it for the way they have treated their player base over the years. Then there is the fact they have raised the price for the game multiple times since its initial launch. For those that may not know TemTem launched with a price of $24.99 and is now almost $50 before taxes. I am sorry but even with inflation why continue to increase the price of a game especially when your company has a poor record of customer service. Not getting this one sorry, not sorry.

Monster Sanctuary convinced me to play a turn-based game after avoiding them for years. The combo system, and synergizing debuffs rejuvenated a system that had lost its flavor for me.

Coromon is absolutely amazing. Idk why but it has the exact art style I love and want in a game, it's just so visually pleasing. And the mechanics are perfect, the shiny system is very fun, the option to not evolve coromon and still keep them strong is fantastic, and overall battle mechanics are so fun. 10/10 we need more like this

If the graphic is true on Azur Promilia is that Palworld is excluded from PS but Azur is excluded from Xbox so each one of their Consoles has a Palworld like exclusive of sorts. The waifu game isn't for me though.
