Pro Tip: If you have a super low AR% and can't use the Dash Now feature or have a hard time scheduling blocks here's a trick. Schedule yourself 4-5 days out. So today is WED and I just scheduled myself for SUN from 6am-10pm. That way I'm always on and never have to worry about getting a shift that day. Yeah you get alerts all day and they pause you without letting you know sometimes so you have to pay attention but at least you never have to worry about can I dash now..

In most markets I have dashed in, Tuesdays and Wednesdays are not the best days to Dash. Thursday to Sunday are the better days to dash, and Monday can be hit or miss, but I usually do ok .

@@woodchipgardens9084 You do know you can pause incoming orders after you have already accepted one, right? I do it all the time .After accepting an order go to upper right and hit the 3 dots. Look for the "Pause" option. DD will not be able to stack/add anymore orders. Just have to remember to so this everytime.

thanks for the tip on filtering out regions when going to schedule shifts.. I only ever choose from 4 different areas and I had like a 100 listed when going to schedule.. This was an awesome tip. Thanks Dude 😏

Another tip- coming from a deliver driver from pizza company’s, manager’s and drivers tend to request a DoorDash when they feel the tip is too low, no tip, or a problematic customer. Avoiding company’s like Pizza Hut, little caesers and dominos will weed out low paying orders.

The only problem I've seen with peek pay (in los angeles and san francisco markets) is that the time feels ridiculous. It's often "$2.50 from 11:30pm - 1:29am" or "$3 from 1:30am to 3:29am", which is great in general compared to markets that don't have any promos but I also like sleeping at a respectable time haha

Peak pay nowadays just means you'll make less money than you would normally. So many dashers chase peak pay, which ends up defeating the purpose of getting extra money. It doesn't really benefit us as much as it does Door Dash itself. Also I'm learning that unless it's a time of day when a lot of food orders are coming in (like Friday evenings) turning off shop & deliver orders causes you to get much less orders similar to how it is if you have a low AR. It's as if it marginalizes you for making a choice that it gives you but doesn't want you to choose. Ebt doesnt have shop & deliver orders either and so that's part of the problem too. The orders are thinned out by all the different options.

My DD tips are always way higher than my DD pay at the end of each day! I try to do some no tip orders; but I think there should be a limit; as to how many you have to accept, before it hurts your acceptance rate; especially if you've reached Platinum status. Let's say, I'll do like 3 no tip orders per day; I'd accept that, but I shouldn't have to accept every single one they send me, as Platinum they shouldn't even be sending very many of those.

interesting that your layout is different than mine. I just reinstalled the app last night too and its definetley not the same layout. for example there is no account data or vehicle managemet or profile to name a few on that screen at the end of your video in my app. I also dont have that menu at the bottom. Maybe you use Iphone and its different layout?

The problem with videos like these. Every market is different. Im in a very small market. When we even get leak pay…. It’s 11.30pm and you get maybe one order because others will decide to dash at the same time too. Useless
