PS2 title, Savage Skies, flight simulator/aerial combat but instead of aircraft, you fly around as creatures like dragons, griffins, mutated rats with wings, etc. I recommend this game to anybody who enjoys the idea of flying around as a mythical creature, dog fighting with a friend because it is multiplayer, and it even has a really decent campaign mode. It was one of my favorite PS2 games.

I replayed both Prototype games recently. A strong recommendation from me if anyone here is considering trying them out! I usually can't play older games because the gameplay is so clunky and unresponsive and the graphics don't do the game any favor but Prototype 1 and especially 2 still hold up insanely well. There is no other game on the market that makes you feel like such a badass.

I know a great one! An old PS2 Classic FPS called "Area 51". It's about a squad of bio hazard clean up specialists with guns that have to deal with a horrible mutation that's turned everyone in the base into alien-zombie monsters and it's kicks ass. It has great gunplay, but about 1/3rd of the way through it you end up alone and infected with the virus and can switch between Human and Alien, the alien side being able to do insane melee attacks and other physical feats. It was really cool, and even though you are a human for MOST of the game, it was a very interesting take on it.

Prototype needs a remake or a new one the first was so good was one of my favorites. Second was fun not as good as the first but still good. Just wish it had a new one or remake cause wanted to get it on steam but people say newer PCs have problems running. And Darkness 1&2 were soooo good also. In Katamari Damacy games, you kind of feel like a monster rolling up a whole school of kids and truing them into a planets or crushing them into stardust. Turning screaming spheres of people into burning lights in the sky seems kind of metal.

The most awesome game where you play as a monster in my mind was definitely THE SUFFERING series the 1st game was a masterpiece complete with jump scares that at times had you wasting ammo on an enemy for a few seconds only for it to disappear leaving you to realise that it was an illusion in your severely psychotic brain. It has an excellent story and very original boss fights but the main point is that the main character Torque has the ability to transform into a hideous monster capable of some pretty grotesque abilities. The 2nd game Ties that Bind was a prequel and was a bit harder than the 1st game but all the same it was an amazing experience for the horror genre of video games 🎮

People must have forgotten the 2010 AVP also had three campaigns and it was really sick. Updated graphics from this and you can play as all of them
