I loved Syphon Filter (All 7 games; '99 - 2010) It was a good action based alt to Metal Gear Solid.👌Had Panzer Dragoon too, it's only an hour long but great fun and showed what the Saturn could do! Only game I haven't played is Demon's Crest. Very similar gaming history!

Ooooo Jak another fun back in the day story. So a friend of mine one time his dads company he worked for would have a day for employees, family and friends where they'd rent out six flags for only them. So my friend invites me to go with them to six flags dallas TX. Had a blast the whole time but the cherry on top of the sundae was we saw this thing set up that said like top secret or something and was covered in tank camo. So we go check it out. Ends up being an arcade BUT it was new games that were just about to be released but hadn't been yet. And killer instinct was in there. We were total fighting game enthusiasts back then and fell instantly in love lol.

Good list - definitely a lot of unconventional picks, which is nice to see. I feel like the farther back in time, the more people would just be exposed to totally random games that ended up clicking with them, during the time before social media, when you just played whatever you or your friends had. Back during my formative years, I would end up just playing all sorts of shareware DOS and early Windows games that people have never heard of now, and those were some of my favorites of the time.

Oh wow! I didn't own demon crest either. I was living in Nashville, and we always went home to Memphis to visit. My cousins had the game on SNES, and they didn't know how to play. I beat that game in 2 days, and I thoroughly enjoyed every minute, every transformation.

I'm an older man, so I would go back to say the original Super Mario Brothers taught me how to use my brain playing games. Also, hands down, one of the most unique and fun experiences I had was with the SSX series feom EA Big(REMASTER NEEDED).

as mentioned, this will be a returning series at least a couple of times a year. With that being said, I never played the Final Fantasy games, so I have no say from a personal perspective. I do know that a lot of people loved them back in the day and still do today.
