Bananas also age age avocados. If you buy some under-ripe avocados, store them with a banana and they will soften up in a day or so.

I looove the banana tip! I have always loved half green bananas, but everyone have said that I CAN'T eat them bwcause they have to be "mature" and brown, so I tried to "learn" to eat them brown but never seemed to like it so much. This is awesome, now I can eat my greenish bananas and be happy about it, thanks so much!

Loved this video! I’m 62. I’ve been doing weight resistance since I was 19 yrs old but when I turned 58 things started to really get difficult, (mind shift & hormones), but I also wasn’t eating WFPB w quality proteins. In the last 6 mths, I decided that’s it, my muscles are weakening too fast (I could feel the difference & it was my fault; not consistently working out w weights nor consistent health foods 95% of the time). I did not feel strong, lean, fit & healthy as I had my entire life! I made the decision to start going back to gym until a habit(!), & it did once again. I now go 3 x per wk & and still also walk my dog for 45 min daily & eat healthy home made foods 95% of the time. I’ve burned fat, but it’s been mostly a shift w a bit of weight loss & muscle strengthening (or growth(?), but in a strong lean muscle way), & about feeling happier! I started feeling mood lifts within 1 wk of consistency! I was worried about eggs & cholesterol so it was fantastic to hear your info. I do agree about avos, but never too much p/day. Only 1/4 per day for me as seeds count (healthy fats) as well, & it all adds up! Thx for this video! Love your Chn! I’m pretty sure everyone enjoys watching & listening to you ANY time! 😉😁👌

This was solid info 👍I eat all these these items as my core essentials and have never felt better. I enjoy seared Ahi once a week as the mercury levels can be high as you mentioned. My favorite lunchtime smoothie is Frozen Organic Banana ( bought fresh when green, chopped up, and frozen ) Frozen Organic Blueberries, and Strawberries ( Costco ) Oikos Vanilla Triple Zero High Protein Greek Yogurt, then I add a serving of OM Masterblend Mushroom plant protein, 1 Teaspoon of Bee Pollen, 1 Teaspoon or Chia seeds and 3 Brazilian Nuts ( for selenium happiness ) and that's my go-to that carries me throughout the afternoon until dinner. No Processed foods, fried foods, chips, or soda pops, but I do enjoy a good glass of red wine with my dinner (that's my treat for the day) as they say " You are what you eat " 💪

I legit eat all of these 10 foods u mentioned! I’m 55 yrs old. I speed walk 2 miles every summer note day! My problem is I’m in full blown “Menopause” & I have an underactive Thyroid. So nothing I do, helps me lose the extra weight! I cook all my food homemade. No process foods. I even make my own salad dressings & hummus from chicken peas. My own chili u name it. I’m a real “chef now” & I bake only w/keto friendly ingredients. I do “protein days” to trick my metabolism. But, I always hit a plateau. Then, I can’t lose anymore weight. I’m petite & it’s extremely frustrating but, I continue to do my 2 mile walks & eat a healthy lifestyle. Please let me know what else I need to do? I know I should incorporate resistant training but I’m tired after my 2 mile walks. I am a hyper person & have energy & I do get 8-9 hrs sleep. I’m on a routine. Wake up 8 am go yo bed 11 pm to 11:30 pm. Ty I’m so glad I found yr channel! ❤❤

I love to make a savoury mince that I add to pasta. I have an intolerance for wheat but I can tolerate pasta because it's made from Durum wheat which is different to the wheat found in normal bread. I make it by frying up lean beef, a whole onion till brown, add a tin of diced tomatoes, a jar of mild salsa, some chopped up mushrooms, a tin of beans and some chopped frozen spinach. Cook it for a while to get the flavours through it. Usually around half an hour and then I add a sachet of Spaghetti bolognaise sauce with it. I put it in small containers and freeze them. I can use this with the pasta or even bake a potato (either sweet or white) or even rice for dinner. It's simple and very easy and the other added ingredients make the meat go a lot further. I don't always use organic if it's not available but I do try to use organic wherever I can. I can't eat eggs and I can't have milk because of lung problems so I have to try to find alternatives which is a huge problem for me because whenever I want to do a diet of some sort, they always include lots of eggs. I'd appreciate some information on alternatives to eggs and milk. Thank you for a really good video.

Excellent advice and really fun to watch. I am not a mum but someone who has always been interested in nutrition, and I intend to dance in clubs until I die. For me, good health and energy are more interesting than weight or body fat percentage. I eat and love all those 10 healthy foods - and many others, since variety is the key, including at least 30 different types of fruits and veggies. I moved to Spain years ago to get fresh, organic (most of the time), and cheap healthy food. Sardines and shrimp come from the sea 5 mn from my flat. The city is not surrounded by suburbs where you only drive, but little farms. Of course free Vitamin D since it's sunny all the time. People who live here are so healthy, because they eat healthy, and move a lot. Not only in gym clubs, even if there are plenty. They walk, bike, climb, swim, and dance all the time. All this may explain why Spain is supposed to become the country where people live the longest in the world. It's a different story in the USA. Huge lack of fresh and affordable food, and nutrition knowledge. Fast greasy unhealthy industrial crappy food restaurants, and food ads, everywhere. I'm so sad to see this country dying simply because of bad nutrition. All my American friends who have moved to my town have lost a lot of weight and gained a lot of health.

Dr's put me on meds that made me hungry & tired. I gained like 30 or more lbs. eating crap food. Then began eating healthy earthyielding food. Lost 40 lbs.from March to Dec 2022. Xmas came & i went back to eating meat. I was vegan. I gained 10lbs back. Then i began eati g healthy again last June. In Jul i started resistance training & lost 14.2 lbs, and at the same time gained muscle. In 2021 my muscles atrophied so much there was like no muscle left. Even though I gained fat. So this year I've lost inches. About 7-8 inches around my waist since 2022. Protein First. I watch FIT Mother & JJVirgin. They've helped lots in my fitness journey.

Make a huge lunch that they will also eat for dinner. I just started this and it helps. I start after school "snack" around 2pm. They get home around 3:20pm. By the time they get home they wash up and eat what I made for after school snack. I made enough for them to eat again for dinner so when they come back in the evening from soccer and theater practice they eat again and it's the same thing they are earlier which is fine. I have found that this helps to ensure that they have a meal after school and a meal for dinner (after practices, etc). It's been a game changer, not sure why I wasn't doing it before. 💖 God bless you

I eat pretty low carb and very much into Whole Foods but I notice a large difference in my daily energy when I have rolled oats with some fruit ,almond milk, and protein powder vs when I don’t

Hey thanks for writing in and great question! Oats, especially sprouted, are a fantastic carb source. Carbs are most certainly not the problem as you can find some healthy carbs that provide energy, fiber, minerals, and satiety. It's the sugary carbs that we need to watch out for. Best of luck! -The FMP Team

Wow I’m actually proud of myself as I eat most of the foods listed here (except beef) 😊 Also, I’ve been doing intermittent fasting for weight management & controlling my sugar levels and it’s working so far :)

You look great! Love your hair! I noticed it looked longer. I eat all of those foods except Chia seeds. I've had them before but not in while. Also, I have probably with disgusting green tip banana. And as far as fish goes, I've been eating wild caught salmon in the can Kirklands. It's a lot cheaper than fresh salmon which I also buy but not often. Please tell me what's your take on can Alaskan wild caught salmon? I was eating albacore tuna in the can but stopped for reasons you mentioned. Is there a way to detox from heavy metals in the body?
