CRITICAL INFORMATION Which might help you decide what configuration you need for YOUR laptop 8 GB RAM is decent for regular coding , if you're gonna run machine learning algorithms , i would lean more towards 16 GB RAM variants Windows 10 uses 2.7-3 Gb of ram And windows 11 uses 2.2-2.5 Gb ram Also Check if the laptop has thunderbolt (4.0) 2x data transfer speed And please do not go for laptops with HDD SSD Is atleast 20x faster than HDD If you're interested in game development and will need to do 3-D modelling , then a GTX- 1660 GPU should be more than enough and most importantly try preferring latest gen Intel processor currently it's 12th gen , but i would always go for amd ryzen , This is controversial but if you want a laptop to have a better battery backup then go for quad core processors instead of Octa-core ones , and always check the base clock speed of the CPU cuz most of the time companies will put max clock core speed and it will be around 4-5 GHZ but that will work only on overdrive If you want a good and smooth experience I'd recommend base core speed to be around 2.2-3 GHz Also important thing to mention All the laptops will have their core name With a number and an alphabet like Example: Intel core i5-11300H Long story short There generally there are 4 types of suffix's of alphabets they are - ( H , U , P , G(1-7) ) H - fastest processor but low battery life P - fast processor but average battery life U - average processor speed but good battery life G - has integrated graphics (1 being meh to 7 being great ) Edit - some really good suggestion in the comments have compelled me to make a few changes

i dont think that thunderbolt is necessary because if someone is going for a minimum laptop they most probably wont have it. Also for most people 2050 is not a good option let them buy 1660 or 1650.

sir maine alomost 15 days laptop research ki and finally 1 week pehle buy kia...mujhe samjha ki agar battery achi chahiye and multiple cores mai accha performance chahiye to AMD is best and for single core performance intel is best..fir question ata hai brand ka and maine dekha ki hp ke laptop jyada sell hote hai because usme kam paiso mai jayda milta hai..but sir maine ek dell ka hp ka laptop dekha with same configurations to hp ka 51k ka tha and dell ka 56k ka..dell mai mujhe metal body,one yr MacAfee free,backlit keyboard,dell mai samsung ki ram thi whereas hp mai WD ki,dell mai privacy shutter tha andd webcam ki quality far better thi,hp 51k mai bhi 40k wala hi display de raha tha,dell mai fingerprint tha, dono mai bhi type C tha but dell mai hum power delivery ke liye use kar sakte the and hp mai sirf files transfer ke liye....Maine Ahemadnagar and Pune mai almost 8 to 10 showrrroms mai khud jake dekha..CONCLUSION: sirf uper uper ke features mat dekho andar ssd kis company ki hai,ram konsa hai,battery kitni cells ki hai,display konsa use kiya hai,metal body hai ya plastic,after sells service kaisi hai etc bhi dekho

Par muzhe kisi bhi Decent acche college main CS /IT nahi mil Rahi Last year ke cuttoff dekhkar . Agar CS /IT mil bhi Rahi hai toh phir Uss college ke baare main maine bohot bura sunna hua hai . Lower college main Faculty achhe nahi hai aise review pade hai kuch young faculties ko khud ko concept sahi nahi aate . Teacher sirf project ke peeche bhagte hai aur favouritism bohot hai aur baar baar kaam marks Milne ke liye taane maarte rehte hai Aise quora pe kuch colleges ke reviews hai old students ke Aur crowd bhi achhi nahi hai . Aur aise college main teachers apne favourite students ko chodkar baki students ke saath attendance ke liye bohot takleef dete hai. Toh kya achhe decent college main ENTC Lena better hai aur sath main coding sikhna kyunki faculty achhi hogi aur students/crowd bhi thoda better hoga ya phir lower college hi thik rahega Aur kya ENTC ke syllabus ke sath coding ke liye time de payenge ya nahi , manage hoga ya nahi . For students who will choose data science and machine learning as their career go for rtx GPU and cpu ryzen 7 4800h or i5 12th gen gaming laptop or MacBook . In a gaming laptop with above mention specifications budget should be minimum 85k if you have then go for Acer Nitro 5 i5 12th gen rtx 3050 2022 or Dell g15 i5 12th gen rtx 3050 .RTX GPU card has tensor core chip which will be very useful in data scientist or machine learning Edit:- asus tuf ryzen 7 rtx 3050 at 74k is aslo good

@@unknown.......6258 Yup but the problem is that the GTX series does not have a tensor core chip . The Tensor core chip makes solving the matrix problem easily but cpu may cause problems also because it is 6 core while 8 core processor will not cause any problems

If you want to save battery 🔋 drainage go for Ryzen CPU laptop my intel i5 11300H works smooth but battery backup is upto 4 hours at the most during multitasking stuff. AMD is providing better value for money with performance compared to intel

Asus TUF 15 has some Heating issues ....... go for Hp Pavilion , Acer Nitro 5 , Lenovo Legion etc And try to get a laptop for good budget ( please if you can buy a laptop in good range buy it ... don`t go lower in name of saving 😂) Good budget laptop will have good longevity as you have to CODE , GAME , WATCH SOME ENTERTAINMENT and GET A JOB on that device after 4 YEARS .... !!
