I love this channel! I had an apt that was never renovated since the 90s so think beige walls, carpet everywhere and yellow lighting! I was able to renovate, paint and have them change to hardwood for a small increase in rent and now I have a beautiful BRIGHT modern apt! Thank you so much! I just upgraded my dining room light to that first gold ceiling light you showed ( I used the black/gold version) and used Edison bulbs. Changed the whole look. Then I added remote control puck lights to my micro library shelving, my entertainment unit, and underneath my kitchen cabinets. Lighting is SO crucial.

If you want a high-end tip on same colour baseboards? Change the gloss. A matte, satin or eggshell wall looks a BIT better if you add one higher level of gloss on the baseboard. You can add a bit of gloss from a smaller can of the same paint, or go over it with a gloss It just catches the light a small level up from the wall matte level you choose. Nobody does gloss walls, unless they are doing furniture, built-in enamel layers but a slight sheen on the baseboard looks sexier 6:37

Yes I need help! I have straight boxed in living room and huge sectional sofa and I feel stuck in how to change it up. There's not much flexibility in how to move around the couch. Great video!! I would definitely tell people PATIENCE, AND facebook marketplace!!! I live in the DC metro area alot of great stuff goes for sell out here for much less than if you buy new and alot of the stuff is still in great condition!!
