I have lived in Sedona 19 years. Picazzo;s in THE local spot. Elote is overrated; Mesa Grill is good. Long story short...ask a local where they go...and please please please learn how to navigate a roundabout BEFORE coming here.

There are NO good restaurants in Sedona. All expensive tourist traps. Poor service. I used to own vacation rentals there. The number of guests who got food poisoning was something I never saw before. Poor quality, no chefs (there are fake), just unqualified cooks. Go to Whole Foods and make your own.
