I just got the 860 for walking thanks to your rec! Enjoying it so far. Even took it to the gym to test out, as I'm not a runner, and it was comfy and stable. Waiting on your kayano 30 for comparison! Lit content as always! I have a question, have you ever owned the Adidas Ultraboost 1.0? Do you think its still one of the most comfortable shoes to walk around it or has new foam tech such as fresh foam and DNA loft surpassed it? Would you still get one considering the options in today's market? Also would the 860v14 and ghost max be a good complimentary 1/2 combo for walking? Or would you recommend something else?
@supwell3 ай бұрын
Glad you're enjoying the 860! I did have a pair of older boost shoes and still have boost hiking boots (terrex ones with goretex and continental rubber). I wouldn't go for the older 1.0 shoes as you'll get more comfort and cushion from newer options, but something like the 5x is still competitive. Also ghost max and 860 is a good pairing - ghost max is a touch softer and more cushioned
@MegaYummyjelly3 ай бұрын
@@supwell awesome thanks man. Do you think the 860 would be a better pairing than the kayano? With the ghost max? But the Kayano 30/31 is even more cushioned and stable, but I'm worried it will be too bulky and less versatile than the 860.

Big fan of your channel. Just had a question. My rotation right now is Tempo: Boston, Adios Race: Adios Pro I use the more foam v4 and adios on easy days depending. I love the Boston’s but noticed the stack height can bring fatigue in, which I don’t mind because I use them on tempo days. The more v4 is a dream because like you I have kids, so when my schedule is crazy I can even squeeze in a 2-3 mile run with little to no stretching in the more v4 if I had to. How does the v5 compare to the v4 as far as ease on easy days? I noticed the stack is higher I wonder if it plays a part in foot fatigue. I’m at 75 miles in my more v4 and seeing if I’m going to get this fly color way you have in the v5 or stick to the v4. Also I heard the Griselda reference you made a while back lol whose your favorite battle rapper?
@MrBrettStar3 ай бұрын
We don’t have the more v5 in Australia yet 😢 I originally only wanted 2 pairs but decided to go 3. I’ve got the sc elite v4, ordered the mach 6 and have the 1080 v13 because I wanted something a bit more casual that I could wear with regular clothes. I think it’s a good combination and thanks to Yowana for all of the suggestions, it helped a lot!
@FreeWilly4162 ай бұрын
INVIGORATING -- that is how I felt about the More v5 earlier on my 2nd run of the 13 mile day. This pair is special and an absolute BANGER as you said. Have not felt this way about a pair of running shoe in a long time, not since the OG Nike Invincible first released. I truly felt euphoric in the More v5 that I ran faster than the easy/recovery pace originally intended. I think that's the danger with this pair -- that you end up going faster and have to be disciplined to hold yourself back. With this combination of weight, cush, rocker and low turnover, I think this is a great pair of shoes to work on stride length oddly enough... Thanks Supwell for the great review on the More v5 and the tip about the narrow toe box. BTW have you considered reviewing shoes in your backyard instead of having to stand in front of your driveway and worry about all the cars and distractions in the background? Also you should do a Best of 2024 under $160 shoe list. Not everyone can shell out $200+ for a single purpose pair especially when you need rotation of 3-4 pairs + race pair.

@@simplymiya3820if you can wait a little bit I would hold on until the new Pegasus plus comes out. I haven't run in it yet but that's likely going to be the best option for interval / speed training from Nike - it will have the race foam in it and should be lighter weight than either the Pegasus or the Vomero. @thetruth99743 ай бұрын
Great video. There is a huge demand in the running gear market that is not presently being fulfilled and if you could fulfil runners' needs internationally it might be a win-win situation for all concerned. Specifically, there are a large number of joggers/runners such as me outside the US (I am UK- based) who are looking to purchase branded running shoes of different sizes, widths and colourways that we can't get hold of in the UK despite those being readily available in the U.S. You mentioned the extortionate cost of international shipping but I am sure you could get competitive quotes from shipping companies. By the way, what about the running shoe warehouses that are affiliated with your channel? Could they not offer to international shipping to us running enthusiasts? What I find rather annoying is that if a shoe is unavailable on the Asics UK website, I can't order it from Asics USA. That to me is the wrong business model and very inconvenient to customers. Asics UK could easily import from Asics USA but they cannot be bothered. The same applies with New Balance running shoes. No wide or extra wide versions and fewer colourways to choose from. It feels as if these companies just do not care about customer service. If you happen to have any contacts in companies such as Asics and New Balance, please could you pass this feedback and my gripe to the their senior managers?

Ran in the more v4, and 1080v12… I’m looking for a new everyday half marathon training shoe… SL2 or 860 v14 or something else? I’m 6ft 180lbs

Does the more v5 still top the glycerine max for max cushion?!

No the glycerin max is like a better version of the more v5 when it comes to the ride experience. If it's in your budget I would go glycerin max

@supwell bro thanks for reply!! Almost bought the balos from your review then saw this but I guess I'm going for the glycerine max! Supwell subscriber as of yesterday!! You're the 🐐

Are you using the wide version of the More V5? because on NB website you can choose for standard or wide version.

Watching this after buying pegasus 41 😅 Any shoe recommendation for places that rains a lot

The adidas Adizero SL2 has good grip and is a top alternative to the Pegasus - it's lighter, bouncier and more fun but still simple and streamlined. Also the new balance 860v14 if you want something a little more cushioned. Grip on all of the new balance shoes this year is solid

Found my Superblast 2 at Scheels for $110, shoe of the year by far for me

How did you do that for a shoe that’s out of stock and basically impossible to find

Definitely want to see the Specter 2 long run review as a big guy wanting some wiggle room for the piggies
