I think the biggest way to save money is to get things as you need them instead of everything ahead of time. You might find you dont need something or dont like something later on so buying it in advance even if you like and use it now isnt going to help you. Also take in freebies if they are offered to you even if you arent sure about them, most things can be cleaned up and your opinions on certain items can change(esp with clothes, dressing a nb is way different than an older baby vs a toddler).

Childbirth cost also vary depending on whether you choose a birthing center, at home birth or hospital birth.

I have to say thank you for easing my anxiety! I love the fact that you guys downsized to living in an RV to save a ton. My partner and I are currently living in a studio and feeling pressured to upgrade to have a bigger space. You've provided so much invaluable info on motherhood and I can't thank you enough. I'm due in October and admittedly the financial cost of having our first baby is keeping me awake at night. You are a godsend! ❤

I am so glad that I could offer some relief! Having a baby is stressful enough, not to mention costs. At the end of the day it’ll all work out and I’m so happy for you and your little one on the way. So exciting! We are moving back into an rv now that we have 2 under 2 which goes to show you really don’t need a ton of space in the beginning. You’ve got this mamma!

@@cortneyneville8431Thank you! We are very excited soon-to-be parents. You and your family have certainly shown the possibility of living in such a tiny space. Much love! ❤

I agree with all of your points, however, you left out baby led weaning as an option for feeding past 6 months. We spend $0 extra on food for baby. She eats what we eat, just cut into long spears (and choking hazard foods avoided)

Another saving tip: Use cotton squares and water to clean the baby.

This is great, love videos like this, my babies are abit older now but I'm sure still relatable so definitely gonna be watching this series. Except the cost of childbirth, in the UK we don't pay for health care, the costs are shocking. We ended up moving home from a 1 bed to a 3 bed house as we now have 2 kids. Childcare is SO expensive, we've not put our kids into childcare, I'm currently on maternity leave but will be going back to work soon, me and my husband are both self employed so we decided that my husband works 4 days and I do 1 day so my husband has the kids whilst I'm working. Formula milk is EXPENSIVE it's ridiculous. Love your honeycomb shelves 😊
