Roman really isn't that bad. They just don't present him in an optimal way. IMO he should be either a vigilante-ish antihero or a straight up heel. He also should be presented as a brawler who does brutal matches and doesn't shy away from using brutal moves and weapons to win matches and of course he should finally get rid of the shield attire.

thing is roman doesn't suck, his push never felt organic but forced and mainly people hated that. now though it's pretty much the thing to do is boo him (as hhh said in an interview).........he can do good/great matches (like cena) when against someone on or around his lv. his promo work still sucks though and sadly he doesn't seem to be learning even though he's pitted against some of the best promo guys but instead of seemingly learning from them it's just fail after fail in that area, he does have gems every so often but a clock is right twice a day so i don't count that as improvment...........................halford that won't matter, it was said vince saw the light when people walked out but except roman entering the gray area from face there hasn't been much change. vince is either testing the waters if people really want him heel or the heel turn is moveing but at an extremely slow pace

In reality that's not working. If you look at the weekly tv ratings it's gone way down since the end of the attitude era. The only real complaint I have about the Network is the autoplay order. Say you've just watched an old PPV -- Backlash 2003, chosen for no reason. When it ends, unless you want to watch something entirely disconnected (like, I dunno, Money in the Bank 2012, also chosen for no reason) what do you most likely want to watch next? Probably not a show from a year later that has NOTHING to do with the one you just watched other than sharing the same name. You probably either want to watch the next night's Raw or the next PPV. I mean, right? Other than Mania and MAYBE the other Big Four, who's binge-watching specific PPV titles? That makes absolutely no sense. There should be some chronological option for viewing order.

I'm glad he addressed the Lesner issue A few weeks ago I was calling bullshit because Simon was criticizing WWE for having Lesner hold the belt for this long because I remembered Simon praising them for treating the belt like its something special. I think we all know Lesner has had the belt for too long and now that he beat Punk's record its time for someone else to hold the title. But I have a new issue. All these wrestling channels complain when two wrestlers just have a match. Even when they are good matches they like to point out that there was no point in the match, but now we have Simon complaining about wrestlers that are currently having a feud having matches against each other. I will never understand why people have a problem with the women not being able to wrestle in Saudi Arabia. That wasn't WWEs fault or idea. The market in SA is full of sexism and WWE was only appealing to the audience in that culture. There is more than one main event. Going on last doesn't make it any more prestigious than any other feature match that sold tickets. Only one can go last. The last match is storyline driven or for a fitting ending to a PPV. Did you know that Bruno Sammartino never closed the show? Yet he was the main event. Reigns going on last just keeps Reigns relevant because it drives fans to react to him more and there's no such thing as a negative reaction other than NO reaction.

In 10 years from now, Reigns will be a double figure world champion and along the way, fans will adjust to Reigns because he will be a decade long part of the furniture main eventer... and complaining about him will become old. Funny thing is I don’t really have an issue with a 3 hour raw and they should consider a 3 hour smack down show so they can showcase talent. The roster is ridiculously deep nowadays on each show, the problem is they are not taking time to develop storylines in all that time. I just watched nxt Chicago takeover last week (the one with the insane ricochet/velveteen dream match) and all 4 matches on the card were good because they took time to develop them. Wwe can build feuds, give us good women’s matches (not the same 3 on 3 garbage we get every week now) and have nxt call ups not be jobbed out.

Re wrestlers changing between heel and face too often: that's been a problem in WWE for way too long, and they obviously aren't going to do anything about it. One minute someone's a face and the next they turn on their tag partner or chase someone's title and become a heel. It becomes a problem when it's used simply as a crutch instead of using simple psychology. And that's a big issue for old school wrestlers and fans because it can be so much better if time is taken to build a storyline. But, as you said there's money to be made so they rush the storylines along. The result is two wrestlers fighting over and over again on TV and nothing being saved for a PPV.

Wwe is actually the best now overall it has been since the attitude era in my opinion despite its faults! Like right now, they have more talented wrestlers on their roster than ever before! I mean if you include all of their main shows/brands like Raw, Smackdown, NXT n even the recent n improved 205 LIVE... there are just so many well skilled wrestlers! They just need to balance out all the different rosters around n keep trying to give more gd storylines than bad ones n push the right people who deserve it the most more rather than who don't! If they do this, they can carry on in the right direction!

Funny how whatculture pushes Reigns as a fantastic wrestler just to be “on the other side” of the fans, trying to be different. I actually think that anyone who can keep up with WWE’s schedule and the beating they take in the ring day in and day out deserves respect. But Reigns is an ok wrestler at best, and I’m not hating on him or anything. I respect his work and his effort to make things right, but you can’t say “he can go” when he only has good matches when he’s paired with somebody who’s actually a good wrestler, when he has no wrestling psychology and when he only offers mediocre mic and acting skills. I’m sorry, but he’s only there because he was handpicked. I wish he was a great wrestler so I could actually like him while everybody else hates him, but everytime he pops up on my TV, the only thing I feel is indiference =/
