This should live way up as a hype stealer, for the amount of expectation on Uriah from the TUF season, and also the GAP in what was seen in these 2 guys at the time. However I agree that due to not having stakes / not even yet in thr UFC proper, or with rankings etc, it doesnt fit high enough but the hype crush was still very real. TLDR: a good fit for the gap in hype expectation, a poor fit for actual stakes/name brand of these guys at the time.

Yeah DIaz / Lawler ufc 47 was my favorite fight of all time. Nick was a UFC noob (1 fight in) and he was talking so much shit about Robbie, who was the hyped feared striker vet at the time. Saying "he's not as good as he thinks he is," not in a bragging way, just in a matter of fact way. Rogan was saying "oh this is a BJJ guy expect this to go to the ground," then the fight started and Nick was talking so much SHIT while pimp slapping him to this day I've never seen anything like it.
