Yup, they gave title shot to Dan Henderson who was no.13 ranked at that moment so Bisping could defend his title, Dana still wanted Bisping as champion. Even late replacement Khabib's title shot opponent Iaquinta was no.11 ranked and then he was no.9 ranked right after then Iaquinta beat no.5 ranked Kevin Lee.

Henry Cejudo proved that that DJ-TJ fight was a farce. DJ quite rightly asked for Tj to fight at LEAST ONE fight at Flyweight FIRST because he knew that the cut was difficult even for HIM. He basically tried to spare TJ from getting fucked up for no reason. Infact I think DJ’s team had even suggested that the fight take place at 135 instead for the Bantamweight Title and the UFC denied them. So it wasnt this grand gesture from DJ either lol.
