My former girlfriend was a Malignant Narcissist. She would constantly walk ahead of me and when I would confront her she would say I just walk really fast, I can’t help it. I’m 6’3 and she was 5’3 what does that tell you. It’s all about a need for dominance and control which nullifies their ability to truly bond or love. It was a year long relationship and after it ended I felt like I came back from a war. My advice to anyone is that if anyone ever walks ahead of you, run for the exit!

#6 Traumatize before important events. I've seen my covert narc. dad almost sabotage my little sister's graduation by not showing up. He had to drive me there too, so I almost had to beg him. My sister is usually one of his flying monkeys, weaponized against me. Just wanted to share this knowledge. They don't care about their minions and will do whatever it takes to steal the show, so to speak. True thieves. Killjoys. Recently I told myself to never share good news or moments with narcs, ever again. I always end up with regret.

So spot on! When I went in to labour with my second child (with my current partner) my Narc ex knew of this because I texted him in the morning saying I won’t be at the exchange location. He decided to keep messaging me all day AND “accidentally” send memes (joke pictures through texts) to my current partner and saying “oops! How utterly embarrassing, that was meant for my brother.” My current partner and Narc ex haven’t texted in a year about, so that was on purpose. The day was not about him, so he made sure to annoy us so we could think of him.

My whole life since early teenage to this day over 20 years I have been violated physically and mentally. I have done transaction to her which take from me everything (time, money, energy), but gives nothing back except gaslighting, lies, called out being bad person / unworthy man, smear campaign, etc... Latest thing what I heard from her current man (flying monkey) is that I am a women hater, women beater and I have tried to choke her in a past.. This accusations are so outrageous that I can't believe that she is saying those things. I'm too kind person to get physically against anyone and I have never assaulted anyone in my life, not even bugs.. But she has done that to me multiple times since I was young kid.

If you do not like children ie “not a fan” you should relinquish being around a toddler who is beautiful, sweet, innocent and needs unconditional love and kindness. How could any person talk that way about a tiny child they have been around for a significant amount of time? The answer is: they would if they are a narcissist or one of the other dark triad disorders. Sad.

They are very un-generous. They don’t like giving you anything … gifts, compliments, anything. If they HAVE to give you something it will be something that doesn’t fit or something literally from their house that they don’t want anymore. The gift will have nothing to do with you. They will not walk with you. They are always trying to be separate from you. They will make a scene in public to try and get strangers attention. They will say something loud and shocking to get strangers to notice them. They use shock and inappropriateness to offend people and then suck up that power that they had over people. They give complete strangers attention. They interact with strangers as if theyre close friends. They inappropriately don’t behave differently, they dont seem to know the difference. They will refer to someone as a friend when really it was someone they just met at the grocery store. They dont know how to react when you hurt yourself or are sick. They physically dont know what to do and will not react. They will freeze up or just ignore it and act like its not happening.

I'd like to add a little of my personal observation: some of the narcissists I had the "pleasure" of meeting LOVE to touch or nudge me with their bodies or limbs from behind or any of my blind spots unexpectedly; they also tend to stand extremely close to me unsolicited that I could literally feel their body heat and smell, and the texture of their clothes. It was utterly gross and repulsive, literally like having a human-sized leech trying to latch onto me! Narcissists absolutely enjoy the sight of their targets being stunned, feeling unease and caught with their guards down. Some narcissists become excited and get a kick out of initiating advances like this with a sexual undertone, regardless of their sexes. I have experienced this kind of behavior from both male and female narcissists more than once. If you call them out, fight back or simply warn them not to, the narcissists will get mad and deny any wrong-doing, then blame everything onto you. Disgusting cowards!

One thing I learned about a Narcissist is, if they can't see you, you are not there, Out of Sight, Out of Mind. I think when they are walking ahead of you, for that moment in time, you don't exist. My Husband walks ahead of, or behind me, all of the time, never with me. Another strange thing that he does is, after we go on Vacation, and he is talking to his Friends about it, he'll talk about the Vacation as though I wasn't there with him, My name is not mentioned at all.

One thing they do that’s odd-if you call them out on something, they are stunned, but they pretend it never happened. And then at some future point they will shore up that thing you noticed, as if manipulating you to prove you’re wrong. I actually called out a narc point blank that golly gee, his words never matched his actions, isn’t that funny? He pretended that never happened, but a few days later, began this elaborate hoo-ha about how he was going to bring me some trifling thing. I saw right through it-he was going to bring me this trifling thing, just so I would think that he followed through on something. It was so weird. They try to shore up when you point out a red flag-they don’t address it directly.

1. They watch you constantly and try to find something to dunk on. No matter how insignificant. Extremely creepy. 2. They will try to “help” you to establish their delusional “superiority.” 3. Very two-faced. They literally feel no shame. They will try to get on your good side than talk 💩 behind your back. 4. Extremely jealous even over the smallest thing. Will covet whatever good thing going on in your life no matter how humble. 5. Will suck-up to “whoever is in power” and agree with them on literally everything. They will of course obviously contradict themselves and don’t see anything wrong about it. 6. Will openly bully you but act like they are the victim. They will blame their bad behavior on you. Completely demented. 7. If they choose not to like you, they will negate everything you say. Conversations are literally impossible, a complete waste of time and horribly uncomfortable. 8. If you are their “enemy” they will not engage with you because they think they are “above” you but will get angry if you choose not to engage with them. 9. Knowingly denies reality. 10. Highly aggressive. Their rage seems inexhaustible. They are not going to change. Don’t waste your patience on them. Keep track of how they treat you. If you work with them, report them. It’s probably best to prepare to leave too. They are unsafe and untrustworthy.

This list was spot on....Id like to add a couple odd things. My narc will verbalize out loud and it instantly becomes his truth. lets say for example. (made up scenario) Me~ Why did you leave your shoes in the middle of the floor? (after I just watched him kick his shoes off in the middle of the floor and walk away) Him~ I didnt Me~ ??? I quite literally just saw you kick your shoes off in the middle of the floor and you saw that I saw you Him~ Youre crazy, I never did that. One of the kids must have left them there Me~WOW!! Ive noticed, whatever he verbalized becomes his truth. I think he actually believes it. All he has to do is say it out loud. He lives in a false reality he has created. Also, I have never ever ever seen this man clean. and I dont mean clean like run the vacuum or wipe down the counter. which is also true but I mean like. take for instance. This one is a true example from just the other night. We got fast food, were sitting at the dinner table. We finish. Our young children 10 & 5 throw their garbage away and leave the table. I see my husband leaves everything of his on the table (btw, the garbage from his seat is an arm length away). The next day, he leaves for work before everyone gets up. He took his garbage from the night before and puts in in one of the kids spots. keep in mind, that spot was MORE then an arms length away???? Theres so many WTH with this. like, is he actually trying to get OUR child in trouble?? Is he so much in his own bubble that he doesnt grasp that we both literally saw the kids throw their own things away the night before??? I didnt throw it away, i put it back in his spot and then asked him about it. and he said, I didnt do that. Dude, you did. Theres quite literally nobody else who could have. You find yourself have the most stupid of conversations you could have never imagined having. Its all dizzying and I thinks part of the point. I couldnt fathom at this point in my life having an intellectual conversation with partner, Id likely faint.

oh oh....remembered another thing i think is odd. He does not text so he calls (you know, have nothing in writing..cant leave proof), anyways. He will call me just to stay silent on the phone. There was no purpose to the phone call. Im left sitting there in the silence and ill be like. "Soooo" "Uhm, did you have something you called about" and then he gets mad at me and goes on about how awful I am because I dont ever want to talk to him? What the What??? Now, I have witnessed him do this with his mother, they will call one another without words and listen to each other breath for an obscene amount of time. Its so strange. Reminds me of when I was 16 with my first boyfriend.

So odd! I have experienced all 10 and more. I’ve known so many covert narcisstic trait people throughout my life. 17 years of him valuing his friends’s opinions over mine. Especially when it came to his substance abuse of alcohol. He enjoys walking behind me usually, and he’s texting or even talking on his phone. I have to turn around and talk to him. Ruining event’s important to you, not just holidays. I have so many more experiences!

Oh yes , they go last minute Christmas shopping so you get what everyone else doesn’t want … like a salad spinner , oven mitts . Or gifts came from duty free AC catalog , cud sit in cockpit and shop . Thankfully they had nice items. It’s really a night mare when you finally know and understand truth …

I saw a narcissist husband once practically sprinting off an airplane, walking a mile ahead of his slow, disabled wife hobbling painfully up the ramp. I knew exactly what was going on and that he was abusing her, so I turned around and glared at him so hard he stopped and pretended to be attentive. I’m sure her life never got any better as long as he was in it. I also observed the worst narcissist professor I ever knew hurrying through the halls of a university with this poor confused foreign student struggling to keep up. I’ve been aware of this phenomenon for a while, and if anyone did it to me to display that they didn’t want to be seen walking with me like that, I’d be gone. Such total humiliation.

My MiL has ruined so many of our holidays. No matter how much we try. We were no contact with in laws for 3 years and they were very happy and great holidays. I tend to gift experiences like concert and show tickets and that way we can make a great memory AFTER the bs the in-laws have thrown our way. Lol

My husband does all 10 things. First thing I noticed was walking ahead of me. He has done this for 52 years. He never cleans after himself. We have 3 bathrooms and he uses 2 and never cleans them. I am disabled and I do everything inside the house except clean his bathrooms and the basement. He is not allowed to use mine and it is always clean. He controls me with fear of his violent temper and frequent outbursts whether alone or in public. He always wants me to pay if we go out to eat. He gambles but won't pay for a gallon of milk. He ruins every holiday and blames me. All 10 things.

i didn’t experienced number 1 or the holy days thing, but the other 8 am definitely privy to. the desire for keeping up appearances or some kinda respect or honorary gain from strangers i definitely still finding quite bizarre. Thus far, i’ve never met a narcissist prove they can accurately complete a logic truth table, or even accidentally worship El shaddai in spirit/truth. yeah, not even on accident.

Omg! The guy I dated back in 09/10 used to walk ahead of me and I thought it was so no one would know we were together! And he was extremely horrible to me throughout the on/off few months we were dating. Since learning about NPD I've realized I think he was a narc. I unfortunately got emotionally abused by another one since him but I only learned about npd recent years. Both of then called me fat too! The first one put a nasty facebook status calling me a fat virgin even though he had taken my virginity! And the more recent told me in a text that he despises me and that i'm fat😔😔

I am so confused if the person I keep having come back in my life over the span of 8 years is just a jerk or if he truly is a narcissist. I've watched so many videos on narcissists, and have somehow managed to think I'm the narcissist?? This has been the messiest relationship I've ever been in with someone....
