I agree that the covert narcisists are the most dangerous because they are predatory wolves in sheep’s clothing and they are hard to recognise in the beginning. With the overt, grandiose you know straight away who you are dealing with so you can distance yourself quickly. With the covert you might get trauma bonded and get very badly hurt. For sure! I recently had to get a restraining order on my most recent covert narc. relationship, mutual friends keep telling me how much he misses me and that he just wants the best. Yet one week ago he broke my right arm in an attempt to confuse me or something, I don't know. He also had told several different versions of this story to several people. I'm just in awe. For sure! Divorcing a covert narc after 28 years of misery. He had my self worth in the toilet for most of those years. Found out what narcism was about 6 years ago and it was a massive revelation! He is currently on a smear campaign. I have done EVERYTHING in this relationship and in our household and he has taken credit for all of it, while telling everyone how dysfunctional I am, including our children. Cant wait to be free!

Thinking back my life so far, 2 to 3 toxic encounters that I have are with covert narcissists, and I had been foolishly letting them toy me, destroy me for such a long time, while brainwashed to believing it was me having issues and being a horrible human being! FOR SURE!!! This is a very interesting video because you are actually describing a prevalent blame situation that a lot of women, (men too) get into. It makes you feel like a failure in relationships that are constantly failing, making you an overall "failure". I am really glad you explain this in the wonderful "complaining" tone you have that helps me get into my disappointed complainer (a part of myself that I never listened to). This complainer energy finds fault with others instead of yourself to actually and hopefully find the problem outside of yourself instead of constantly looking within to fix the problem. I am not an un-Christian "meany" when I speak about other's failings with feeling. I am just getting in touch with my disappointment in others, and allowing myself to see the problem IS NOT ME! Only then do I have important information that I need to move on to success in relationships and getting what I need out of them to match what I have to put into them, and I am entitled to under the laws of fairness.

yes its some crazy things that they come up with man the lies that they tell i have been dealing with these kinds of people for so long i am stuck in a horrible situation with my kids mom rightnow its a very special story really but if i can get away from these narcs and flying monkeys i would be further but i need to get away from this because they are trying to distroy me but i just dont know how if nothing else do it for my kids its just hard for me being in the situation im in rightnow but hopefully god will see me through it because he knows my heart i have been following you for along time now so you have really been one of the people in my bigging of this that has gotten me this far along with some others like Narcology Dr.Ramani as well so thanks

This is a good example. I am exhausted with my in laws and my ex. I didn't realize it at first, but over time. It took it's toll. After I moved for him, and then moved again for his career. Then it was like his family trying to get money out o fhim, the constant reminder of his parents divorce. Your right, they are vengeful, jealous. Then when my husband had his new girlfriend, it was just unbearable. He would always be like, putting us down; and let's all talk about the "girlfriend".
