I can’t have tea anymore but, I have been doing a lemon water cleanse every morning. It works, I don’t feel gross and bloated! The salt water cleanse works great but the article said it’s hard on the kidneys to do it daily.

6:39 In the US we call those X's and O's [ex's and oh's]. They have the same meaning: hugs and kisses to you. They were quite popular in the early 2000's when texting via cell phones was kickstarting and maybe they would be sent after the message. Example: I can't wait to see you later xoxoxo

Okay, nevermind hahaha. We do not have that many words to indicate being drunk. We do use "wasted," "buzzed," and "hammered" to informally say one is drunken. We use the word "canned," but that usually means someone has been "fired," as in no longer employed at a job.
@EasyEnglishVideos
@EasyEnglishVideos Жыл бұрын
Wasted is the word I associate with US. I remember it from all the American teen movies I used to watch.
@az.................
@az................. Жыл бұрын
@@EasyEnglishVideos As an American from the West Coast I've used (for alcohol intoxication): buzzed*, hammered, loaded, sauced, tanked, trashed, wasted, and I'd infer as much from pretty much anything that is synonymous with destruction. Not on your list I'd probably add blitzed, bombed, shitfaced, smashed, and blotto. Pickled and fried I'd associate with bar snacks (especially fried pickles… err gherkins) or long-term drug/alcohol abuse, zonked for tired, and canned (and never sacked) for involuntary separation from a job. And, of course, pissed which I've heard used almost exclusively to mean furious out here. * Buzzed (e.g. a beer buzz from a few low ABV beers) is typically associated with mild alcohol intoxication and in fact there are billboards out here proclaiming "buzzed driving is drunk driving" to disabuse people from the notion that driving after consuming any amount of alcohol is safe or acceptable. Drink driving turned into drunk driving somewhere across the Atlantic.

*@Easy English* i do hope that what i'd "last" written there made at least some bit of sense ( i e, " ...might be able to *reckon* just how.... " 😕😆 ?! ) ? Truth is though, had been dead well knackered when i wrote it ( ...i'd not slept for ages at that point, yeah ) and so *I reckon* 😏 i mustn't have been thinking at all clearly at the time ( ...HADN'T at all been "pissed" though really; i barely/rarely - in the "Brit sense" of the words, that is - ever in fact actually do 😄... ). At any rate, i suppose i might as well just go on ahead and subscribe to yer lovely channel after all then 😁 ; there's really no proper good reason NOT to, yeah.
