I like Will, I love his talent, but he disappointed not only me, but the millions of fans that dig him. Jada is not a good person and if Will was any smarter, he'd ditch her, work on his anger and his reputation, and then come back in a HUGE way. He deserves better than her. I'd like to see him come back in a really good role befitting his talents, something like his Pursuit of Happyness role. I like both Chris and Will and I hope the two of them reconcile their problems with each other. Nuff said.

Here's the wild thing. If Will Smith hadn't physically assaulted Chris Rock, and maybe just went "wow fucked up dude", the social backlash would've fallen on Chris Rock for mocking Jada Smith for suffering from an illness. It's a lesson that sometimes exploding in anger, even if something shitty is done to your loved ones, does not help the situation and just makes it worse.

Will Smith? Really? I’m not saying we should hit people, but double downing on a “joke” (and I use that word loosely, since it wasn’t funny, it make zeros sense, and half the damn room didn’t even laugh) that basically made fun of someone’s appearance (like one of the lowest forms of comedy) is the reason he got hit. He was very defensive and said “it was a joke” twice, which to me seems like he knew it wasn’t that funny to begin with. Literally, if he said sorry, I highly doubt he would have been smacked. Honestly, if I was there, I’d been the first one, because it was the death of comedy and taking accountability for our words. And it’s funny how people want others to be chivalrous towards their partners, but Will gets shitted on, because comedy is more important than standing up for your partner when they were wronged? And he apologized…Chris on the other hand not only was defensive about what he said, but uses the controversy as a stepping stone to get back in the headlines after becoming a Adam Sandler groupie in all his shitty films feels slimy. And the Oscars hired Chris, which is messed up, since you invited Will and Jada to basically get insulted and then blame them when your talent decided to publicly insult your guest, that’s mess up.
