What about a seat Leon cupra estate? also in the VW group, but way cheaper and they have the grunt to have a place on this list or not... Have a Seat Leon Cupra ST 300 myself, 2019 model with 4drive, and it was really quite cheap and does 0-60 in 4.8 sec... so there should be an older alternative under 10k available or not?

I was desperate to find an e55 estate and after a year of searching it seemed that they had around a £4k premium over the saloons so I got a nice welll specced saloon in a rare blue colour for a great price. the S4 and passat r36 are still on my list to own... but then so is an elise and an e46 m3 the 335d is only good if you do motorway miles and care about fuel economy really, they aren't economical when driven fast...

I'd like to see a video on top 5/10 fastest diesels for under 15/20k i know there has been a video on this before at a much lower price but there are some insane diesels out there now that are fantastic on performance and daily running costs. For instance from 2013 on the bmw 3/435d m sport with x drive or as I like to call them the M3/4D cause they're only around half a second to 0.7 seconds slower to 62 than the petrol M cars and are much cheaper have 4 wheel drive great specs and lower running costs and insurance

#10 (Alfa-Romeo 159), I would yank out that V6 engine and transmission and put in a V8, and accompanying transmission, under the hood, as Alfa Romeo has such a setup now, plus it basically looks like a more refined last generation Dodge Magnum or Chrysler 300 S Touring anyway. #9 (Saab 9-3 TurboX), I would have gotten the V8 engine, and accompanying transmission, from the Saab 9-7 AeroX, as that vehicle is essentially a badge swapped Chevrolet TrailBlazer SS, which, at its base root, is as powerful as a Chevrolet SS/Holden Commodore (VF), or a Pontiac G8/Holden Commmodore (VE), and, as such, has that mighty Chevrolet LS engine lineage, which means a lot of potential upgrades for said transmission, as well as engine. Moreover, since the Saab 9-3 TurboX also is legally available over the pond, meaning that they can also be found in the USA and Canada, even an old LS engine and transmission swap is honestly not that hard to do to that vehicle. Yes, this vehicle is also available in the USA and Canada. #8 (Skoda Octavia VRS), I honestly know little of this vehicle. I know that it looks nice, but that engine and transmission setup seem a little too tame and pedestrian for my tastes, and especially given the styling of the vehicle. Now this is not to say that insane four bangers do not exist, as Mitsubishi and Dodge proved that they also have good, as well as criminally underrated, ones in the Mitsubishi Starion, Galant Lambda, and Galant VR-4, and in the Dodge Colt/Dodge Challenger (Second Generation), Plymouth Sapporo, and Dodge Neon SRT-4, but I am thinking that the station wagon/estate car needs a little more...oomph under its hood. I am guessing a Hemi swap for its engine and transmission, as well as upgrades to everything on the vehicle, might work. Alternatively, Volkswagen, which had a pretty good V8 engine and transmission in the Phaeton and Jetta (and which said vehicles, as well as such engine and transmission options, were also available in the USA and Canada), and since Skoda and Volkswagen also helps Skoda make its vehicles, those engine and transmission options might also be viable ones, as well as similar set ups from Audi. This vehicle is not available in the USA and Canada, but its cousin in the Volkswagen Passat is available in the USA and Canada. #7 (Volvo V70), I have heard that the T6 variant of this vehicle (which, as far as I know, is also available in the USA and Canada) is pretty potent, but what a lot of people do not know was that, around this time, there was a pretty potent V8, as well as its accompanying transmission, that Volvo had made that was also available as an option for the Volvo V90 and S90 and that was also put into a race going variant of the S 60, specifically, its Polestar variant, as well as the Noble M600, albeit slightly weaker than the former engine configuration in the other vehicle. Also, a pair of engine and transmission swap options, namely, the Ford Coyote engine, and its accompanying transmission, and the nearly identical Nissan VK56 engine, and its accompanying transmission, are also popular custom/aftermarket engine and transmission options for the Volvo V70. The Volvo B8444s engine has had versions of it tuned to around 650 HP, and 487 lb ft of torque, and there is a lot more wiggle room for further upgrades in speed, fuel economy, and torque. Yes, this vehicle is also available in the USA and Canada. #6 (Ford Focus ST), I know that the Ford Coyote engine and transmission combination would be the obvious upgrade that this car needs. Also, any version of the Ford Focus, from 2007 to 2018, is available in the USA and Canada. #5 (Subaru Impreza WRX), I know that a related vehicle on this platform, namely, the Subaru Outback, had an Australian cousin that was called the Pontiac (Australia) AdvenTra that had a V8 engine that was pretty much a GM LS engine, so any LS engine and transmission package would do for this vehicle, but the classic small block engine and transmission package would be best to install on this vehicle. Yes, this vehicle is also available in the USA and Canada. #4 (BMW 335D), I am glad that these vehicles are also available in the USA and Canada, especially with the engine and transmission package that is mentioned in this video, and the newer models have also had their issues ironed out. However, there is still room for tinkering to bump the torque, horsepower, fuel economy, and speed times up in the vehicle, depending on what you want from this vehicle. Now if you DO want even more horsepower and torque into this vehicle, and the V6 engine, as well as its accompanying transmission, are not enough for you, then you can go for a newer model V8 powered BMW S63 engine and transmission package. #3 (Volkswagen Passat R36), I have mentioned one of the best engine and transmission combinations for this vehicle on another vehicle, but since this vehicle is also a Volkswagen, then it also makes even more sense here. Volkswagen, which had a pretty good V8 engine and transmission in the Phaeton and Jetta (and which said vehicles, as well as such engine and transmission options, were also available in the USA and Canada), so since the Volkswagen Passat R36 is almost the same size as those vehicles, then having that engine and transmission swap would not be that difficult to do on this vehicle. Moreover, there was also an earlier version of the Volkswagen Passat that also had a W8 engine, which is also said to be a reliable engine. Yes, this vehicle, though, sadly, not its R36 variant, is also available in the USA and Canada. #2 (Audi S4 Avant), I am going to say that the Volkswagen-Audi V8 engine and transmission combination is going to go best with this vehicle for the most obvious upgrades in those areas, as it is a worthy successor to the Volkswagen V8 engine that had powered some versions of the Volkswagen Phaeton, the Volkswagen Jetta, and some of the earlier V8 powered Audi vehicles. Yes, this vehicle is also available in the USA and Canada. #1 (Mercedes-Benz W211 E55 AMG), I am glad that this vehicle is also available in the USA and Canada and it is also ever bit as potent as its European counterparts. Sadly, there are still some reliability issues with the V8 engines and transmissions that power those vehicles, but they are also often compared to the brutally powerful Chrysler V8 engines, most notably, the Hemi, Hellcat, and Hellephant engines. Yes, this vehicle is also available in the USA and Canada. Basically, eight of the ten vehicles that are in this video are available in the USA and Canada in this video, two of these vehicles are related, one variant of one of these vehicles is not related in the USA and Canada, and one of these vehicles is not available in the USA and Canada.

On average, most cars lose 1/2 their value every 5 years. So look at the new cars and trucks of today (2020) models. In 2025, most those cars will be 50% off. It's not a perfect system, but it works pretty darn well for most cars. Just imagine, 2010 models (seems like yesterday) should cost around 25% of their purchase price in 2010. So a $40,000 Camaro SS (fully loaded) should be worth around $10,000 today. If you shop around that's pretty close to what they are going for with average miles (120,000 miles based on 12K miles a year) on them in good condition.
