All they were saying is Peter would be teaming up with a female MI6 agent who will eventually get spider like powers.

I would also say now is a good time to pick up a Werewolf by Night 32. Prices have started to come down a bit in the last few months but if a tv show is announced in the future, you can kiss that book goodbye.

That is another book that is a riskier but worthy addition ( I am lucky to own 3). The only problem is all the hype is based on speculation. SO that one is a risk but still great to get if you can find it cheap.

The Marvel stamp is exactly what it sounds like... it was about 1 inch x 3/4 inch 'stamp' (like a postage stamp) that you would cut out of the page (usually on the Marvel Bullpen page) and collect in an album. I don't recall if they were redeemable for anything... just a collection gimmick. But, a comic book WITHOUT THE STAMP is deemed incomplete has just a fraction of it's normal value.

In the Mid 70's Marvel had these little coupons that were made to look like stamps that they would have comic characters like hulk, spiderman etc that you could collect. They were encouraged to cut these out and "Collect them all".... It was a way to sell a lot of different books because there was only 1 in each book. So if someone cut one of those stamps out, it lowers the value of the comic because it is considered incomplete... Hope that helps :). Have a look at the go collect numbers and you'll see what I mean!!! Many people on the forums are saying this is growing in value rapidly like hulk #181 did last year. That is a great comic but that price has spiked for the time being and will stay pretty much where it is (Price wise) for a while... The best time to have purchased that comic would have been a year ago or earlier... It still is a great book but now is not the best time to buy it, you will be spending top dollar.

on a more serious note tho: i had some x-force comics on my watchlist on ebay. all in supposedly NM condition (we'll see about that though) i had hopes that the new trailer for deadpool 2 leave itself some time to arrive (because of the reshoots that are happening) but with the trailer out and more "domino and more cable and xforce" in the movie i just baught x-force 2, 8, 11, and 15 for a little over 50€ or a little over 60$ for that matter. you think i jumped the gun here? thank you for your effort ^^

There is never anything wrong with taking a chance on something so NO I don't think you jumped the gun... If you paid too much for them they maybe, but usually when someone buys something as speculation early, they tend to pay lower prices. Sometimes in investments, risk is involved. So sometimes you just have to take chances and see if they pan out. But don't get too down if it doesn't.

Another Bronze Age book that has become very hot recently is Marvel Spotlight #32 (1st appearance of Spider-Woman). Especially with reference in the Captain Marvel movie and possible appearance in Spider-Man: Far From Home along with the character getting her own solo movie down the road, The prices have skyrocketed overnight. As a fan of this iconic female superhero, Fingers crossed it actually happens.

Most of the issues are in 7.0-9.2 range while MS 32 is a beautiful 8.5 copy. Another classic book to keep an an eye on is ASM Annual #21 the wedding issue, Snagged both covers in 9.6 unread condition for $27.50 each.

Believe me when I say, it can take years of passing up on auctions to find the right deal, but they are out there. I mean I just won a FF52 (1st Black panther) in around a 4.5 to 5.0 grade for only $49 less then 2 weeks before the movie came out. So there are always deals to be found. So don't give up or get discouraged. "All good things come to those who wait".....

Great video!! FF #5 is the only book I don’t have on that list. I have multiple’s of the others. Got a steal on a 9.4 WP #134 years ago. Just because I heard it was hard to find in NM. Only reason I picked it up. FF 48 got 7.5 and a beat up raw copy. Like you said low grade is better than no grade. It doesn’t matter because until I will die with my books! I keep hearing about Moon Knight TV/Movie speculation, so Werewolf By Night 32 and 33 are must haves. I think there was a Marvel Spotlight #28 (don't hold me to that number), and also some early MK appearances in the Rampaging Hulk magazine.

They are great to get if you don't over pay. A lot of the rumors are based on comic fans who really want to see him in a TV show. Nothing concrete as of now. So this one is purely speculation. THAT is what is driving the price o that comic up IMO

FF #4 would be on my list. Submariner is such an underrated character. He is Marvel's first super hero of the Golden Age, the first mutant, and he was a villian and anti hero. One of the most complex and interesting characters in the Marvel Universe. Movie or no movie.

you can do what I did, for those who can't afford the high prices of THE AMAZING SPIDERMAN you can collect PETER PARKER THE SPECTACULAR SPIDERMAN...you can still get #1 for less than 50 bucks in mint condition, once u collect the 1st 10 issues the rest is downhill from there. The biggest stumble might be issue #64 (1st Cloak & Dagger), u can still get a 6.0 in the 40ish dollar range.

IH180 IS the first appearance of Wolverine. A full page, full body, speaking part. I don't have either 180 or 181, but my son has a mid grade 180. One of those strange comic book anomalies.

180 is his cameo, but yes it is his 1st appearance. He is only on the last page and whether he speaks or not does not matter, it is still considered a cameo. Great list! Some of those are already pressing the edge of being too expensive. The only one i disagree with is shazaam - i think the price is pure speculation, its a fairly juvenile story and a lame cover, i dont think it has much intrinsic value. I dont see anything about the book, story or character that will hold interest aside from movie spec. Another great vid though, thx!

Shazam #1 was one of the most over speculated books going back when it was first released. There are tons of copies out there. Very easy book to find even today.

Even books like that can fetch a good price if the demand gets high enough, for example look at NM98 and ASM300... These are millions of copies and yet look how much those are going for these days....

I had a CGC 9.6 Avenging Spidey #9 with signature by the writer Kelly Sue Deconnick and sold it Wayyyyy to soon. thats one I wish I had it back.. that and my 9.8 Black Panther #1 (2016) negative space variant by John Tyler Christopher. my problem is not holding long enough on sure things.. LOL! I have a youtube where I talk about comic book industry news and it DC fans are having a melt down. They are either defending the DC movies no matter how bad they have been and its not working!

Can’t beleive they’re are people who spend good money on PGX books. I get it. Your buying the book not the holder but to invest in a book graded by a half ass company that’s missed restoration on books again & again.. Just doesn’t seem to bright.

II don't grade mine to make money, I grade mine to protect them. So why would I spend more to do that? THAT is what seems silly to me. But the biggest thing I notice is no one ever questions why people use CGC and always seem to worry about PGX.... I say live and let live. Thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts.
