Swedish recipes have a lot of abbreviations, so here's a list of those: krm = kryddmått = spice measure = 1 ml = 1 milliliter tsk = tesked = teaspoon = 5 ml (2 tsk = 1 cl = 1 centiliter) msk = matsked = tablespoon = 15 ml dl = deciliter l = liter g = gram hg = hektogram = 100 g kg = kilogram = 1000 g

Nice round up and great to see a couple I didn't know yet, tack! A couple that caught me out when starting to learn (and found in some song lyrics): e (short for är) o (short for och) And I feel like you missed o.s.v. (och så vidare) = etc.

Can you go over one thing that appears to be an abbreviation on a grammar book? It appears to be either t om or t o m.

That is a great question!!! We are going to make a post about it on our instagram this week. But spoilers... in short till och med = even / until and including. A Broken down exaple could look like this. Jag arbetar måndag t o m fredag = I work from Monday until and including Friday.

Thank you. Does Sweden have a large pool of highly trained medical personal to cover sick time and v.a.b in hospitals? Sick call for yourself, not including your kids, is a statistical nightmare in the US.

VAB does not requiere any kind of medical personal most of the time. You just say your kid is a bit sick, and you can work. And your employer generally just takes your word for it. Unless you start going for long periods of time.
