One mistake that I did was to cancel my very first cc when my other cc had good benifits. Turned out, canceling credit card makes a big dent on your credit score.:(

I have a Chase Freedom Student card which is my first credit card. If i upgrade the card to Chase Freedom Unlimited, will the age of my account change? Asking from a credit history POV.

An upgrade or downgrade is just a product change and does not impact your average age of credit. It will essentially be the same account, so you’ll be fine :)
