I am 16 and have always been and wanted to be a classy lady not the stereotyped woman but confidant, and genuine. These guidelines are very simple and always should be followed regardless, I cannot believe the generation of teens I live with, no matter what age anyone is this is a lifestyle not a choice of how to behave on occasion or small situations.

Honestly out of all those “Elegant coaches” on youtube you’re the most real sounding one. The rest sound so fake and arrogant ~ but I love the honesty in your tone and the way you talk ^^

I have a problem with genuine and authencity I might have to see a counselor about. I think I have trust issues. And I'm not a personal trainer, but I do wear the dri fit from Nike and shirts alot because I'm a full time mom and I'm guranteed to get dirty with my 2 yo through out the day. I don't hesitate to wear this attire most days. However, I did update my wardrobe two months ago during the seasonal sale at Macy's and I got a few name brand dresses and cardigans and flowy sweater jackets there with platform sandals for good deals. I also purchase lots of wolford tights and argyle socks for winter from saks that were also on sale. I think I'm waiting to settle on boots. I'm slowly transitioning my lifestyle out of the post partum motherhood days... I think wearing the dresses with tights for winter might be a challenge than to rather just wear the dri fits... 😭 I'm torn between both but atleast I have a wardrobe going now for starters. 🤦 Thank you for the tips.
@TheModernLady6 жыл бұрын
You’re welcome! 😊 You don’t have to wear dresses and tights! You could wear pants and sweaters, or pants and blouses, if that’s what you prefer! I just encourage you to save athletic attire for athletic clothing. But by all means, if dresses and skirts aren’t what you prefer - you can wear pants if you’re happier in pants. 🥂 It’s about finding clothing that you feel happy and confident in, that is what will make you radiate both inside and out!

You can treat people the way you want to be treated and that's fine but don't expect it back! You might be thinking what do I mean by this. If it's in your nature to be loving and kind to others and that's who you are and what you'd do that's fine but don't expect it back because if you don't get it back you end up angry and bitter towards some one who didn't deserve your time. If you get it back that means someone is inline with your values and those are the people who ideally you want to spend time with but if you're not getting it back and you're getting angry about it - for example, I've heard many stories about people saying I've done this for her, that for her, I brought her sandwiches into work for her when she was low on cash, etc, I've been there for her though each breakup etc but where was any of my friends when I needed them? When I was going through my anxiety or something like that - and then they realise no one was really a true friend. It's up to each individual, do unto others as you'd have them done to you, my Nan used to say that and a family member abused her trust but my Nan just thought which she told me, I just think if that was me in that situation or one of my children in that situation I'd have given my right arm to someone who helped either myself or my kids. Don't expect goodness back out of people. If they do it back - great. If they don't they're showing you their true colours and if something is right for you and you do it for some one even though you'd know you wouldn't get it back either do it for others in your life who'd appreciate it or if it's inline with your values help them but don't expect goodness out of someone who hasn't got the capacity to do it back.

I don't feel 😕 like 👍 a 😀 classy 😕 young lady 👩 at all. My breasts are too small 😒, I prefer flats over heels 👠, I look 👀 10 years younger 😅, and I can only fit into kids' clothes. No nice young men are gonna love me because of that. I'm 24 years old, but look 10 years younger. I'm more mature than one of my friends who gets angry at me for having sex, I'm smarter than most people who are older than me, I know how to say no to things that make me uncomfortable and that I know are bad for me, I do everybody's laundry, I know how to introduce myself to people, and I pick up garbage that people have littered on the ground and throw it into the nearest trash can. I'm also short for my age. I'm not a midget. I'm just short.
