I'm glad you guys had a more authentic experience in Fiji, honestly I've done the luxury hotels there and sometimes you don't feel like you really saw Fiji. The people of Fiji are so beautiful and friendly to everyone, I want to go back and have an experience more like this.

I’ve been to Fiji only once… and my goodness you make me realise how much I miss the wonderful Fijian hospitality, the amazing generosity, graciousness and fundamental goodness of their culture. From the warm, loving way they embrace children - whether theirs, or a those of a guest… to the genuine happiness and their desire to pass that happiness to others.

Hi. I don't normally write comments but I had to this time for sure. I loved the new style. Your down to earth filming has now made me want to go to Fiji. I like to travel and see the 'real' people and country. You have done this in your film. Well done!

Thank you for your informative video on Fiji. You captured many aspects of Pacific Island life such as the delays (Pacific time), the inter-island ferries, the outboard motor boats, the electricity issues, the water supply and plumbing, the isolation, the phonetic spelling, the joyful children, the help from a friend of a friend, the local markets, the goodwill towards foreigners, the difficulty in getting supplies, the mosquitoes, the refreshing sea breeze, the humid heat, etc. It was a delight and brought back many memories.

I love the peaceful pace. Your videos don't just flash the highlights, they conjure the actual feeling of travelling and of the place itself. There is a genuine and honest documentation of your personal experience, and although it is uniquely your experience, it is also one I am sure many travelers can relate to, and that non-travelers can feel and enjoy just from watching. Well done!

I think a lot of Australians go to Fiji. They fly to Nadi airport, catch the resort bus, stay at the resort and then back to Nadi airport and home. When I went to Fiji, I stayed with my friend in Suva and caught the bus through the villages to the beach. Loved the way that many people would walk for an hour or so to church on Sunday morning, and home again. At the market, my only drink of Kava numbed my lips as well!

Oh I loved this video. I'm a New Zealander but I grew up in Fiji in the 1960s and it is where I started my schooling years at a very local school. Lived there for many years. Gosh it has changed since then but not the friendliness of the people, the beautiful beaches, sea breezes, tropical fruits and Fiji time. Vinaka for this fabulous video.

Oh, so many good memories, I have heard many stories of the increased crime, lack of employment and drug addiction on the main island, it wasn't comfortable in Nadi! I was relieved when you went to the smaller islands and met the real Fijian communities! New Guinea and Australian natives were cannibals too! I stayed on a former plantation where there were no cars, no internet, no tv and one shop - but the spacious Bure, local donkeys, endless beach activities, friendly people and all you can eat fresh food really made the days endlessly relaxing! Where I was they had music, singing, carving, basket weaving, tree climbing, jungle trecks, kids club, etc! What a beautiful postcard that is Tia, I'm so glad you enjoyed the experience, until next time! 💕

@OnePackWanderers I agree. I was enjoying the new "feel" that I was delighted in as the video unfolded. It looked different, felt different, without losing any of the charm you two capture in all your other films. You really should look into documentary film making about people and culture. People need people more than ever before, and even in the big cities, you guys have a way of getting the viewers to have a connectivity with your subjects. Always a fan and always watching. Congratulations to you both. You're both bloody rippers 👍

@OnePackWanderers never doubt yourselves on this. The amount of love and loyalty your channel gets and the way it has grown since I started watching (on about your 5 or 6 video) is outstanding. Just from where I sit, there have been at least 10 people that have enjoyed your journey because I did, and the enthusiasm for what you do is very contagious. Only last week, my therapist became a new devotee after listening to me talk about how much joy that you have brought just to me alone. She said she loved the way that you capture and distil your subject. Onwards and Upwards, your doing a good thing - your audience is proof of it. ❤️
